Haha this kid has put up a ton of points but judging by the fact he’s doing it in a bad league, he’s really old, and he’s currently committed to a CIS school...I’m guessing a top end school like UND will not be offering him anytime soon. Never know though.

I wonder what the real story on Mitchell Mattson was. I could only assume that as he had been struggling in juniors they pulled scholarship $ on he took it as a slight and chose to go elsewhere. I’ve noticed that his scoring has picked up considerably since this all went down (in a very tough league). On that same thought, a guy like Jackson Keane has also struggled a ton since committing and he’s still on board. I’m assuming keane won’t get too much scholarship dollars allotted to him either. He went from the USHL to the BCHL and his numbers have still been bad. Anyone know what type of player he is?

With those numbers I doubt it. Maybe though if he has some intangibles.

After the u18 game last weekend I was kind of worried. They looked a bit lazy. That’s what we got.

And is a MUCH better player.

Most were grade a chances. There was one softy if a remember right. Our forwards were bad a lacked grit (which has started to become somewhat of s trend). Some of our d were non existent as well. Typically I notice guys like Shaw, bast, and poolman much more. Guys that I actually noticed last night were kawaguchi, pogo, Jones, peski and that was about it. Olson too...for the wrong reason. hopefully they come back tomorrow with edge. They need to start figuring it out here soon.

Boys are soft tonight. No skilled plays, absolutely no one crashing the net. The bad (terrible) offiating was the dagger.

Reffing has been beyond terrible and one sided...but the boys look terrible as well. Every team in the country can score on these guys. I though they were dinged up?
