Finally Bowen
-
Krebs doesn’t see it cross, guarantee he calls no goal even though it’s obviously in
-
That’s in
-
...come on now
-
Hopefully he doesn’t, it’s this reason NHL teams pluck players early.
-
I think what berry is thinking is that CJ is a big strong dman that can skate....having three dmen out there limits the other teams scoring chances. My take is that hoff adams and yon need to play to develop that dside of things. Especially hoff and Adams.
-
They need to play through their struggles.
-
Benson and lizotte are through and through role players...but your right in Jose two cases. Would have been nice role players. For arguments sake, let’s focus on the skilled top 6 forwards...that’s who I’m referring to.
-
Which lizotte are you referring too...because the frosh at scsu was a beauty and he looks like the real deal
-
Why aren’t we playing Adams or hoff?? We need to get these boys going.
-
Agreed...but the number of kids putting up big numbers in the USHL and not doing anything in college is falling fast. The ushl is such a tough league, almost too tough (I’m seeing more skilled forwards going to the BCHL). We need to start picking up high end ushl players. They may not be lights out year 1 but come years 3 and 4 they should be ok.
-
Yeah crazy, I’ve seen him play a few times. Amazing young player.
-
Brink is a soph...and a better prospect. Plays a much tougher schedule too.
-
And to put things into perspective, we do have two really nice dmen coming in and Weatherby/hain should add to the depth. But you’re right, we need guys like hoff, JJ, etc to take that leap.
-
Ok I get garret worth plays with good line mates...but he leads the team in goals and points by a ton. He also has a hatty and an assist in their first state game and they’re only in the second. Sign this kid up.

University of North Dakota Hockey 2017-18 Season

He noted they’ll try to sign these guys...which is pretty obvious. Until the NCAA and the Nhl can work out the whole NCAA loophole, these team will try to get them in their organizations. To play in the A. It’s up to the players and their advisors to pump the brakes and see if another year could benefit them. Of all these guys. Poolman is the most ready. I could see him leaving. Rhett and Gersich should definitely stay. -

That’s an interesting stat. Positive going into the playoffs -

Well their pp feels clunky. Their zone entry has improved greatly over the past three or four years however what they do in the ozone is not pretty nor creative. The other team knows that the puck is going to the point and one of the two defensemen will shoot...every time. -

I would say below average offense and below avg defense as well. And their pk and pp are atrocious (I guess their pp bumped up a bit last weekend but if you’re looking at post Christmas collectively it’s really bad). -
Agreed. At the the day I thought this team played well both nights, but when looking at it, Friday they were still torched by defensive lapses and last night they still coughed up a two goal lead heading into the third (which should NEVER happen). This still still scares me.
-
Agree with a lot of what you say and I too think they have a chance to make a little run given they have all their guys healthy. But three of those games (Omaha and Miami) were against putrid defenses and we looked about as bad as a college team gets.
-
One of the best games of the year for these guys. When the boys play like this they are tough to beat. They just rarely play like this :).
-
Und had one on Borgan late in the game ( after he had gave a verbal to scsu). I guess he almost flipped but stuck to his word
-
I talked to a guy from up there and he says the same thing. Kid has an unbelievable shot and slick hands but doesn’t have a motor for being a smaller kid, that can hurt as you move on from HS
-
It’s been that type of season. Not only do they lack skill and effort (most nights), they also are not very opportunistic.
