Great play by Perron and nobody deserves that goal more than Wiebe!
That’s what Perron has to start doing…moving the puck.

Quit making excuses for berry and co. We should have the same success as Denver and Duluth , but we haven’t shown that anywhere close
Oh you must be the troll…I don’t pay attention to users names on here

So the expectations are no longer to be the top program in the country every year to just being one of the best? Might as well pack it in and go home at that point.
Did you even read what I wrote?

I'm with Big A HG. Let's say we end up a top 2 seed at the tournament. Win the Atlantic/CCHA bye, then lose to the first real team and miss the frozen four in our backyard (for the 7th straight year). Will that be enough for anyone here to denounce Berry yet? The only thing I think Berrys proponents can point to is league championships, in an 8 team league where there are only 3 contenders year to year. WCHA there were 6. Does anyone hold a Penrose akin to a MacNaughton?
I have no insight to UND's NIL situation, so I don't know if Berry has any responsibility for its complete absence, can anyone enlighten me why we are doing nothing to compete with Bostons/Michigan/Minnesota? The next two years are the supposed upswing for Berry's recruiting--look at any of those school's recruits for the same time. It's "maybe our guys sneak into the first round" vs their guys "will they be 1st or 3rd overall."
Our facilities are really nice (the best) and our tradition/fans base is awesome. But the fact is….recruiting to GF is a lot harder than it used to be. We also have some really nice recruits coming in. Some of the big 10 teams and def those Boston teams are just pulling in so many blue chips. It’ll be interesting how things evolve over the next 5-10.

It's one loss right now, but the story has been played out most other seasons. It's a compiling list of odd losses by Berry teams late in the season over a long stretch of seasons. If you look at the big picture, the program is underperforming for our status in the hockey world. Blue chip recruits don't want to play here anymore. Big media heads seldom talk about us anymore and we have the best facilities in the country, arguably the greatest college hockey history in the country, the best fans, etc... Yet everyone is okay with the lower standard Berry has set compared to his predecessors.
In the last 25-30 years we’re (at the very least) a top 1-3 team in the country…a top program. US hockey is booming and so hockey. Other programs are starting to pull in blue chip too (some much better). But there is no other team really winning more than us. Other tops programs lose too. Goofs got beat up tonight.

Berry starts the year with the thing already built and it wins a lot of regular season games, but by the end of the year, they've made little to no changes while other teams adapt and look towards playoff style hockey. That's why UND has won 5 NCHC regular season titles under Berry, but only one NCHC tournament title. And outside of our loaded roster in '15-'16, has failed to produce any sort of meaningful NCAA playoff run.
It’s one loss. Hockey can be weird. Sometimes you just lose. No need to panic until a losing trend starts

Persson isn’t the goalie we were hoping he would be. Some nights he’s incredible but too frequently he lets in easy ones. This is an awful showing by our guys, they all look bad except for the 4th line. But we got swept in the state of Colorado in 2016 so if we need to get some clunkers out of the way let’s do it now
.907 sv % and falling (after tonight)….yeah that pretty avg

Going to be a tough loss. Defensively we were bad, goalie was very very below avg. Thet second goal they didn’t count was a huge turning point. Oh well on to tomorrow.

Nchc.tv is overpriced for what you get. Ridiculous.
Not really. I’ve been a customer since day one and it’s been great. I didn’t really have an issue with Miami. Wasn’t perfect but a ton better than this.

Ok we aren’t the SEC of college hockey.

Alright this is much worse than two weekends ago.

It’s a camera setting…you can see when they move the cameras. The last two weekends have been embarrassing for the NCHC. In this day and age the streams should be perfect.

I swear…if this stream continues like this

Miami needs to get booted from the NCHC due to this stream. This shouldn’t be acceptable.
