Definitely not as good as last season, but close. We are really missing our top 2 D Vaisanen and Crusberg-Roseen. Our young guys have stepped up but it's tough to replace two top guys like that.

I don't know how they put up with that guy, even in our cotton bowl year, half the fans hated him.

Yeah, I get it. I just think where Fersch is at this point in his career, he'd gladly take an almost sure lifetime position in a town he loves with a brand new facility over the pressure that would come with being the HC at Minnesota. I could be wrong, but if he were 15 years younger i'd be more worried.

There's no way WMU woudl let ferschweiler go to another college school. They would pay whatever it took to keep him. Also, why go to minnesota when you can continue to coach your alma mater in a better conference with better facilities?

This game is bonkers.

He's been out since december and has only played like 4 games. Got hurt in practice by a skate, I guess he had a very deep cut on some fluke thing, they were saying he had ligaments showing. Good to see him back healthy again.

One day i'll get out there to see it. I hear good things.

I just want you guys to get the chance to play at Lawson as much as possible before it goes away. Just looking out for you that's all.

It's an absolute shame that we only play one series against you this season.

Needed a depth D guy with CCR and Joona out for the rest of the year.

I'm hearing he's not out for the year, just a while. Not sure exactly what that means, but losing him and Joona is a big blow.

Their football team was good, just not as good as us!

Should have come to Kalamazoo, Fersch and Herter would have coached him up.

We needed this series badly. At the end of the 2nd period Saturday we were outshooting Miami 39-5 and winning 4-0. We almost had more goals then they had shots... lol. I think the whole "Miami is back" talk might have taken a bit of a hit this weekend.

We're all out of sorts right now. Hoping we don't get swept by Miami at home this weekend. Haven't had that thought in several years.

He's looking solid but not spectacular. The real issue is our defense so far, losing Sharp and Väisänen isn't going to help and certainly hurt us Saturday. Word is Sharp might be back soon, and that Väisänen could be out a long time.

Didn't realize hockey east was so bad this season. Maybe we won't have to deal with all of those eastern teams in the NCAAs this year.

Sorry about that one, we'll try to do better.
