We are still making very questionable passes. So frustrating to watch.

And he is probably the most competent out of all of them.

Yeah our goalie strategy is truly bizarre. I don’t like this portal strategy they seem to have embraced.

After we won #8, I would have said UND had the best chance of being the first to reach #10, but I was completely wrong. Since then, the program has only declined, bringing us to where we are now. What stands out the most in all these struggles is just one NCAA tournament win—against AIC. That alone should be enough to light a fire under the coaching staff to turn things around, but I just don’t see it. Season after season, we hear the same comments after games, after seasons, but nothing really changes. I truly believed BB was the right person to lead this team, and I wanted it to work so badly. But at this point, I just don’t think it has—or will.

My wife who knows nothing of hockey came into the living room while we were watching the game and said shouldn’t UND be trying to go down to the other goalie. They were stuck in our own zone make east/west passes and not moving it forward. Scanlin mentioned the same thing a couple times. Way too much east/west passing gets us into trouble.

Well I think that is a wrap on the season. I don’t see this team making it to the X, and winning that would be the only chance to make the tournament. Another year another missed tournament. Becoming to common place nowadays.

I know we aren’t much better but SCSU is not a real good team this year. We should have beat them by 4 or 5 goals last night too.

Well we pissed that one down our leg. Unreal.

Berry would literally need to sell his soul to the Devil to make that happen.

Berry sure knows how to clear an arena out.

As has been an issue all season long. Even when we get a shot on net we can’t hit the net. So frustrating.

This has to be one of the most uninspiring and lazy and just horrible periods so far this season. They actually look like they have given up.

As the weeks pass by it’s becoming more clear that this team is not going to make it to the playoffs. Our only way in would be to win the conference tournament and we all know how that goes. Time may very well have passed Berry by, but does Chaves think that and will he decide enough is enough. I would say no, but what happened to the Football Bubba gives me a glimmer of hope. I think we all agree Berry is a nice guy, but it is becoming painfully obvious we need someone new. I just don’t think he is getting the best out of his players and that’s a big problem.

I have no trouble admitting UND bone headed mistakes. It just didn’t look like a blatant interference to me. But my opinion doesn’t matter it’s the refs that does so it’s a moot point.

I watched the reply of that penalty, seemed like a pretty iffy interference call. Could have gone either way, guess it went against us.

Hopefully as Berg gets more gameplay he will regain his speed. You can tell he had lost a step or two from his injury. As to be expected.

Really poor play along the wall leads to a western goal. Hobie should have had that one though.

One of our biggest issues this season. I don’t recall a recent season for a while in which a team has such trouble getting the puck on net. It’s really head scratching.

Hope I am wrong but it looked like Berg tweaked his upper body taking that first one-timer.
