bison....the roof is already over the new arean....scheduled to open in sept...2004......

so UND 92 96 if all was so hunky good with UND and REA...why would the new facility make UND athletics choose between a new floor to play on in the hockey arena or a weight room in the b-ball and volleyball arena...and for your information....most of the women's hockey expenses has been picked up by the FSC....and state money.....and cuts could be on the horizon....but as far as you know.....as far as paying rent....why should UND....if the building is paid for which it is, and concessions on a home hockey game make 200-300,000 why wouldnt they make enough money to let it go...the perception out in the pubilic isnt the reality is all i am saying.....above and all else..the new building for MBB and WBB and volleyball is being built so REA can host bigger events...such as junior olympics......while UND athletics including hockey, MBB, WBB will not be allowed to enter the building for a month and a half since it will be on total lock down....

what would the law suit be? for seeing the contract between UND and REA??? on what grounds? that a copy was misplaced and found by someone??? that would be a frivilous law suit......again like i stated earlier, do you think REA could or could not "cook" the books for lack of a better term.....come on people....dont be so nieve....the 700,000 that REA gave to UND athletics isnt a dent in what UND had to pay to REA during the course of the year....do the math....

REA charges UND because they are a privately run business....someone earlier asked to see the books that REA has...come on...yeah right.....do you think he mad millions of dollars without being able to shade the books how he wants...he can make it look like he made a million or lost a million....a lot like farming...you can write off a ton of capital equipment...cost....all of it Here is another great one.....basketball, men's and women's and volleyball need to fund raise their money for their locker rooms as well as their offices....guess 8 million doesnt go too far huh....

do you want to see the contract....its all fact....the public doesnt always get the WHOLE story.....as in every case.....

another deal most people dont know about is the amount of money UND athletics pays the REA...money up front as well as rental to use the REA each month for hockey...as well as REA getting half the ticket sales..so i would venture to say after all is said and done...UND is getting a raw end of the deal in the exchange....again...my opinion....life was so much easier in the old barn......gotta feeling life will be much much different with volleyball and hoops moving to the Ralph....

suite is 25,000 for a business to get it, a case of beer for example if 40.00....i have heard that next year hockey is raising ticket prices and propably suite prices, since basketball will be playing all or most of their home games in the areana, i am guessing up to 35,000 or 40,000.....just a guess....i aslo heard coach Blais isnt happy about the raise in prices, since the arena is technically sold out....but seats are still available...interesting side note....

i believe the suites are 25,000 a year

insight?? the player is Willis Stattleman, and they are looking at a D1 transfer to come in and play right away...

the only gripe i have with Mussman's play calling is if you show the formation to the bubble screen and always throw the bubble screen...what is the defense gonna jump...i am saying mix it up out of the same sets, throw it deep, even if it's incomplete or the QB throws it away...at least then the safety and the corner wont be jumping the play....bubble screen is a great play if used correctly.....just not the same way every single time...varation is a huge key.....and also scouting themselves...i wonder how many times our offense scouted its own tendencies....zone blocking is great...if you can get it done..big if....

i hope Bubba doesnt leave.....there is nothing wrong with having a baseplay....but being able to call the play in the stands is not a good plan to have......if i havent watched tape all week....and i can call their plays....what is the other team thinking or seeing?

I dont understand that statement by their coach....I was at the game and if the refs wanted to they could have called a lot more fouls on BSU...they played thug ball...hand checking...hip checking....setting moving picks....it was brutal.....and how is logic is that because he is a pre-season all america he should shoot free throws??? what is that...so if you have 3 all americans you should be given the game??? earn your foul shots....you dont earn them by throwing garbage at the hoop...take it to the basket strong and you may get a call? come on coach....i will agree shooting 30 foul shots to 10 is bad but their team is a bunch of thugs....Rypkema had Hanks imtimidated before he took off his shooting shirt....and he didnt foul him he was straight up in the air......develop another move Hanks.....and you may have gotten more than13 points....All American...what did he have the last time we played BSU about the same 13 or 14 i believe...come on coach...and the play he was crying about when Lindahl put in the basket under their hoop was because their guy landed on their own guy and he almost turned a ankle....get this guy a diaper...he needs to change his pants...and possibly a bottle too...come on.....

UND fans arent ungrateful...football team had a great year...but for anyone who watched the Sioux offense all year....I know myself.....i could call out the play before the ball was snapped just by seeing the formation or motion....if the playbook was extensive...it was extensively used on Saturdays

Somebison....Lennon will not leave UND unless it is a big time 1AA job and a big increase in pay, and a program that is fully funded with similar facilities to UND...why would you leave UND where you are a big fish in the pond to go to a 1AA school like Sac. St. that has struggled and their facilities are no better than UND's??? Mussman has been applying for at least 3 jobs....I had heard Schweigert possibly was interested in Jamestown....I really hope we dont lose Bubba...Mussman would have to be replaced outside the program i am assuming...could Bubba leave...i am not sure...he is definitely a UND guy..after UND won in 2001 he said on the radio that this was his dream job, UND is his Notre Dame...tough words from his heart at a emotional time but all and all....could be a interesting off season....

the Sioux and Grand Valley will be in the same region next year so there will be no repeat of the championship game.....one or the other will have to come out of the midwest....that includes Saginaw....tough region indeed.....
