Yes, this basically means that UND will either be the 2 seed or 3 seed in SF. Only USD or ORU can tie UND and it would take several things to happen in order for one of those team to pass them. (USD and ORU play each other next week).
Now... can UND sweep the road trip and NDSU stub their toes? Unless Denver can find a way to finish ahead of USD in the standings (if UND and NDSU tie and THAT happens, that is how UND can win the tiebreaker), that is the only way UND can get the two.
And yes... there is a HUGE difference between 2 and 3 seed.
