Some bad breaks early in the 2nd half for UND 35-30 SDSU

Denver has the feel of a trap game to me on Thursday.

No rest for UND, a rematch against the Bunnies tonight. This is the makeup from earlier this month when UND was dealing with COVID Game is on ESPN+. No Wilson tonight due to precaution from an injury suffered against NDSU. Bottom line: If UND goes winless this week, the season is basically over.

So where does Jimmy G end up next year?

I need to see what they add but yes, they will be better. I hope for a similar situation that happened to the women last year and they take steps forward. I don't think UND will be hit as hard with players leaving.

He has the option to come back and use his COVID year.

Levias probably would have been that person to play his spot, but he got hurt and is redshirting Sims was in that spot last year, but he bolted and now warms the bench in Northern Kentucky. He plays the 4 now because Sueker is out for the season.

I'd still rather get the one game verses being the team left out.

You have Omaha at home and the two St. Thomas games. Season bascially on the line Saturday. No win against Omaha, no Sioux Falls.

I'm happy with the response after Thursday. The results aren't shocking, I fully expected to lose both games. Now its time to take care of business. UND needs to follow this plan at minimum: Win these 4 games @ DU, @ Omaha, UST, and WIU. Win at least 1 against @ ORU, @ KC, @ NDSU 11-7 should be enough for the 3 seed.

If they can clean up the turnovers and play like this, they can run the table the rest of the way. 4 winnable games coming up in the next two weeks.

It was a night to forget in Brookings for UND. It is time to turn the page against the Yotes Since We Last Saw USD: The Yotes used the UND game as a springboard for a 5 game winning streak before dropping a close one against NDSU. They have gotten some really good guard play from Boogie Anderson, Mason Archambault, and Kruz Perrott-Hunt during this stretch, alongisde the rebounding machine that is Hunter Goodrick. The winning streak allowed them to vault to the middle of the pack in the Summit. They have a rematch in Brookings coming up next week but outside of ORU, the schedule in manageable. Todd Lee has done another excellent job this season and should set his team up for success next year... when AJ come back. Key Player: Mason Archambault (6'0 Senior) Since we last saw Archambault, he has continued his impressive play, nearly averaging 15 a game. He certainly has been quite the find for coach Lee (and to the chargin of coach Sather, who was the other team that offered him.. sigh what could have been). However, we will know by next Saturday if they are going to make it to Sioux Falls or not. Picking off the Yotes on the road could be the thing that can turn the season around. UND is going to have to forget what happened on Thursday and get back to what they were doing against ORU and UMKC, expect this time cash it in.
