  1. Some bad breaks early in the 2nd half for UND 35-30 SDSU
  2. Denver has the feel of a trap game to me on Thursday.
  3. No rest for UND, a rematch against the Bunnies tonight. This is the makeup from earlier this month when UND was dealing with COVID Game is on ESPN+. No Wilson tonight due to precaution from an injury suffered against NDSU. Bottom line: If UND goes winless this week, the season is basically over.
  4. So where does Jimmy G end up next year?
  5. I need to see what they add but yes, they will be better. I hope for a similar situation that happened to the women last year and they take steps forward. I don't think UND will be hit as hard with players leaving.
  6. He has the option to come back and use his COVID year.
  7. Levias probably would have been that person to play his spot, but he got hurt and is redshirting Sims was in that spot last year, but he bolted and now warms the bench in Northern Kentucky. He plays the 4 now because Sueker is out for the season.
  8. I'd still rather get the one game verses being the team left out.
  9. You have Omaha at home and the two St. Thomas games. Season bascially on the line Saturday. No win against Omaha, no Sioux Falls.
  10. UND running the same starters Panoam Bruns Norman Danielson T
  11. I'm happy with the response after Thursday. The results aren't shocking, I fully expected to lose both games. Now its time to take care of business. UND needs to follow this plan at minimum: Win these 4 games @ DU, @ Omaha, UST, and WIU. Win at least 1 against @ ORU, @ KC, @ NDSU 11-7 should be enough for the 3 seed.
  12. If they can clean up the turnovers and play like this, they can run the table the rest of the way. 4 winnable games coming up in the next two weeks.
  13. Again Take care of the basketball. UND made up a 10 point deficit once, can they do it again?
  14. Those are coming next year. Hurst and Beal are legit.
  15. USD just brain cramped on that last possession UND with the 1 point lead
  16. Some one call the fire department! Kacie is on fire! LEAD!!!!
  17. Can't turn the ball over against this squad.
  18. Much better start than on Thursday. Of course, that doesn't take a lot to beat.
  19. Question: A healthy Nero, A healthy Sueker, and a healthy Levias. Is UND in the same place as they are right now with those 3 at 100%?
  20. It was a night to forget in Brookings for UND. It is time to turn the page against the Yotes Since We Last Saw USD: The Yotes used the UND game as a springboard for a 5 game winning streak before dropping a close one against NDSU. They have gotten some really good guard play from Boogie Anderson, Mason Archambault, and Kruz Perrott-Hunt during this stretch, alongisde the rebounding machine that is Hunter Goodrick. The winning streak allowed them to vault to the middle of the pack in the Summit. They have a rematch in Brookings coming up next week but outside of ORU, the schedule in manageable. Todd Lee has done another excellent job this season and should set his team up for success next year... when AJ come back. Key Player: Mason Archambault (6'0 Senior) Since we last saw Archambault, he has continued his impressive play, nearly averaging 15 a game. He certainly has been quite the find for coach Lee (and to the chargin of coach Sather, who was the other team that offered him.. sigh what could have been). Series History: Series History: UND has a 103-93 series lead. USD now leads the D1 series at 9-8 Other Games: NDSU (6-3) @ SDSU (9-0): The rematch is upon us in Brookings. NDSU looking to close the gap against the Bunnies while SDSU looks to take a giant step forward in locking up the #1 seed at Sioux Falls. Bunnies are rolling right now, but the Bison might have the secret sauce. UST (2-5) @ WIU (3-5): Tommies looking to get things going again after a tough stretch of game. Western needs to start turning things around, too much talent to playing the way they are playing. ORU (8-2) @ DU (4-6): ORU bounced back with a win against Omaha. DU lost a tough one to KC. So far ORU has avoided the bad loss, but this could be a trap against a plucky Pios squad. DU continues to be an improved program under new management. KC (5-3) @ Omaha (2-8): Hottest team in the Summit not named SDSU? The Roos! Winners of their last 3. Keys: 1) Find ways to get Bruns going at his "homecoming" game 2) Keep the Yotes off the boards 3) Slow the guards down 4) No long droughts The Call: Here is the deal: UND has 10 games left in their conference season. However, we will know by next Saturday if they are going to make it to Sioux Falls or not. Picking off the Yotes on the road could be the thing that can turn the season around. UND is going to have to forget what happened on Thursday and get back to what they were doing against ORU and UMKC, expect this time cash it in. They will play much better against USD and it will again be a close game. However, it is in Verm and the Yotes will take care of business. USD 77-72 https://goyotes.com/watch/?Live=1215&type=Archive
