No disrespect to Hanson intended, but is North Carolina a hotbed of football? Top 20 QB in North Carolina doesn't do much for me. I'm sure he has talent, or North Dakota wouldn't have been looking at him.
My concern is that we've had a long line of solid QB's here, that didn't transfer in at the last minute..............
Top 20 in the nation, not state. He played in the Under Armour game after high school. Apples and Oranges with him and Bradley.

Anyone know what kind of offense they run at North Carolina?
Quarterback Braden Hanson has graduated from North Carolina and will transfer to the University of North Dakota for his final year of eligibility, a UNC official confirmed Monday.

Hanson was caught behind Bryn Renner on the UNC depth chart.
Pro style. TJ Yates was there last year and is now leading the Texans in the playoffs.

edit... just read his twitter
it does look like we pulled the offer
maybe they looked at his twitter pic noticed that his stoned ass was hotboxing

Ummm...if we ask really nice can we have #18 too, make it a package deal? That WR has some ability!
#18 is Trent Hicks he's a rivals 3 star so may be out of our range with the interest he has and the fact that we have a bunch of receivers

on a long sub-type bun, but wa-a-ay better than any subway, quizno, domino, etc sub.
really, though, its the garbage plate - before I ever heard of taco salad
Just don't make the mistake of going to the Red Pepper East and ordering that sacrilegious zep grinder crap that tastes like a grinder that was found in the dumpster after sitting there for a week in the hot summer

1994 Kevin Klancher? When Clay Wagner went down with a shoulder injury against NDSU. Or was he redshirted?
Either way, redshirt or no redshirt, what he did was impressive.

What about Mollberg?
I honestly can't remember a true freshman starting at quarterback for the Sioux. If he does start this year that's great and we have a starter for four years and will probably be an outstanding offense after he's seasoned.
-
So what does everyone think our QB depth chart will look like next year? Bradley #1? Mollberg?
Comes and Hendrickson will probably be ahead of Bradley. Bradley proved he can't make very many throws and got worse as the season went on which is not a good sign. We'll see what this guy can do, I was looking forward to seeing what Comes does this spring so I hope this doesn't create a too many chefs in the kitchen scenario.

Are you that person who can't read a joke when it's marked as a joke?
Maybe he's from the south and can't detect sarcasm?
-
Grimaldi. He was so highly regarded coming in...and he has, what, 2 points all season?
I think knee caps should probably be required to play sioux hockey from now on

Smith Hall? Put the shovel down. You're only making it worse.

So we are going gray? Well, our helmets used to be gray or silver, so that's cool.
Stick with our school colors. No pink though.

Tell us more! Need hints.
Just look around at other college teams who invested in new uniforms this year. There is a recurring theme with the helmets. And there have been things said on this board about what is wrong with our jerseys. Just try and use your imagination and remember what other teams maybe in the ST. of oklahoma or some place around there did with their uniforms (helmets) this year. That's all I'm saying.
-
What's that mean?
It means you might want to keep an eye on them....

Chances are great that the Bison team is going to be down in Texas thinking that they have already won with how people in Fargo are talking about them and anointing them. Over confident fans can sometimes unintentionally produce a complacent team that is already experiencing what it will feel like to win the game before they even do it. It will come down to the coaches to keep them hungry. My hope is that the great people of Fargo blow so much smoke up their players asses that they will be sitting nice and fat without having eaten their actual meal.

They would go well with black home uniforms!
You might want to keep an eye on the helmets for next year . . . . and the jerseys as well . . . . .
-
It would be neat to see black endzones so they stand out a bit from the rest of the green turf. Maybe put an outline of the state of ND at midfield with small stars showing GF and Bismarck.
Or two gigantic blue and grey Alerus Center logos at midfield?

The practice facility would come long before the new stadium. The day we see that started is the day we should discuss the new stadium. The whole design with the entire campus is a 20 year plan so we get to sit on our hands for awhile. And just look at what the Vikings have gone through to try and get a new stadium, unless we get a massive donation any time soon we will wait for a long long time.

james harrington verballed to Alabama for track

Woops, let me try that again.
His arrest was the latest in a string of bad news for college football in Montana.
On May 18, Montana State football coach Mike Kramer was fired after another of his former players was arrested. Over the past year, four former MSU football players and one current player have been arrested on criminal charges, including a murder charge filed against a former redshirt football player.
touche?

Talk about bad timing. Hopefully this marks the end of this tumultuous recruiting class and their tarnishing the UND football program with off the field issues. Some good players and people (Goska, Anderson, Hendrickson, Daniels, Daggett, est.) were in this class but there were too many bad apples in this bunch.

Has there ever been a better three-sport athlete in North Dakota history? I can't think of any, at least not in the past 30 years.
Ryan Chappelle was the most gifted athlete I've seen in North Dakota in the past 20 years. Only track and football though. . . 10.54 100m as a senior and was on pace to be by far the best RB in UND history. Too bad he wasn't as gifted in the classroom.
