  1. Can we all agree that the current laws don't fit society anymore, and maybe never did? As far as weed vs alcohol as drugs it's not even close. Alcohol has the worst and most dangerous withdrawals. Worse than heroin. It actually kills people. It can ruin your body. Yet not everyone who drinks ruins themselves because they do so in moderation. Is it crazy to think that a less harmful drug can be assimilated into society and eventually be used casually and responsibly? I personally don't think so. The big problem with weed is that, since it's illegal, you need to go through a drug dealer who, most likely sells other drugs too. The whole Reefer Madness ignorance and aditude and racially motivated laws need to become a thing of the past. It's too expensive to fight Nixons drug war and if you take a step back, it doesn't make sense. And I'm off my soapbox.
  2. I went to Central through open enrollment. It's one of the best decisions I've ever made.
  3. One problem with east west is Adams drive would be the east.... Most of those cake eaters wouldn't be caught dead at central.
  4. Officiating in youth sports can ruin all the fun, as can asshole parents.
  5. I was thinking the same thing. He doesn't fly around the ice with the puck the way Stecher does. You never really hear his name too much because he plays kinda like a Jones.
  6. Some guys are only good at their one sport. Others are just athletes that can and do excell at many sports. Not everyone on UNDs hockey team will be good at almost every sport. A bunch of them will be. Not everyone is Jake Marto.
  7. I've seen the number one first and second round picks from the NCAA decrease for the last few years
  8. Complete whiff on Ausmus. Maybe next year.
  9. By supporting the idea that FCS is JV and D1 hockey isn't you contradict the facts. D1 hockey is the #2 supplier, basically jv.
  10. But it's not the top level as some try and suggest. You could have made that argument in the early 2000s but not anymore. College hockey is nowhere near as chocked full of high end talent as it once was.
  11. They need to move the line if they stop open enrollment.
  12. Also you can't just compair percentages like that when roster sizes are so different and the NFL has no farm teams for players to wallow in and crack the NHL one time.
  13. What percentage came from Canada and from Sweden?
  14. FCS football is the second highest producer of talent for the NFL. Is NCAA hockey even second or is a Swedish league ahead of it and behind the Canadian juniors?
  15. I hope this is your schtick.
  16. Trust me when I say it does not seem like the same ratio.....
  17. Dude...... Sit your ass down. http://youtu.be/AvI2AeK-dxc
  18. How bout you just leave it at NDSU makes the playoffs and wins it all, UND...... There's no CIT in football.
  19. There's no denying that it just belongs in gf. The Englestad is just too big. The old one was perfect. The first year in the new one it was pretty packed for a couple games. Down hill since then.
  20. They lost money last year. Itd be perfect if gf had a rink about that size and a junior team. It was a decent crowd though. Gf is getting too spoiled with hockey as if it's a right and not a privilege.
  21. In the first game the water stopped the puck for Central but other than that it just looked wet and didn't seem to affect the play too much.
  22. Probably 85% full.
  23. Not really. Central didn't have more than 5 quality shots. The lanes were so clogged up that most of the shots that hit the net were pedestrian. Both Minot goals came off of Centrals goalie miss handling the puck on easy dump ins.
