That is correct. Schmidt did what he had to do to set the program up for maximum success year one. He put more on his plate strategically. Everyone knows I have a huge issue with the play calling, qb play, and personnel on offense. Schmidt is not calling the plays. They are aggressively addressing the personnel through recruiting. Play calling can hinge on personnel. Either way, I expect better from Isaac. Enjoy the next few years, Bubbaball is dead. We have a really good young head coach.

Qb sucks, only 1 good wr, small rbs. You can see why the staff is being super aggressive at certain spots recruiting JUCO guys. I’m really curious to see how they handle qb going forward. I don’t think it’s realistic for Jerry to totally rebuild his terrible mechanics in the offseason. Hopefully someone that can throw with some semblance of consistency will rise to the top.
