Time to get that @iramurphy NIL fund for DL kids and snatch up those drop downs;)
-
It’s got to get back to something more resembling the old old system of the University level and the College level.

Hypothetical vs reality. Which do you think carries more weight? -

The competition down the stretch is obviously tougher. Other teams also had plenty of film by then. Also Jerry started playing tight. Also Isaac started calling bad games. Also Z went down. There are a variety of reasons that happened all at once which is why we saw such a drastic difference. -

Two playoff teams and a team so bad their coach resigned vs the best team in the country and two other tough playoff teams that all won first rounds games. It’s pretty clearly different. -

He slumped hard, but it also coincided with our toughest games against the Dakota schools. -

We are lagging behind the other offer posts in terms of engagement. Watch his film. We could use him. Get on the twitters and do something.

It’s another highly talented Southern team that doesn’t want to get punched in the mouth for 60 min. -
Both easy calls.

I didn’t think he had it in him. Had no reason to. Then all of a sudden he’s a monster blocking for everyone. -

Those last two tuds featured Nate D absolutely bullying guys from Tech to break the runner free. He basically ripped the guy off of Chuck. -
Well we’re talking about 18 year old football players and shouldn’t be pretending that it’s the same as in life. However, most companies treat employees the way “student-athletes” used to get treated, so maybe I would argue a similar point on life in general. You can’t act like everyone will be good on their word and not have different intentions behind your back. There is a very important difference between loyalty and blind loyalty. The latter resembles stupidity more than anything.

It was never two way. That was a lie told to players to keep them from rocking the boat of the rules for thee but not for me system that we used to have. Coaches could leave in the middle of the night for no penalty. If players wanted a better fit they had to sit a year after being granted their release.

Were we his first offer?

Is this picture above your bed?

Don’t get me wrong, I bleed green and absolute hate PJ Fleck’s schtick.

People are quite literally dogging him for flipping. We celebrate when we flip a kid. It’s part of the game. Is it a red flag when a coach leaves a team after brining in guys with the assumption that he will develop them at his current destination?
-
I won’t make that assumption for him. If he leaves I hope he kills it and gets drafted. Same way I feel for if he stays.
-
I’m just saying, to all those looking to dog on an 18 year old for making the right choice for himself and taking the clearly higher level opportunity is weak.
-
Can never fault a kid for taking a better offer to a better school.

So they’re the new Sam Houston? -
That Schmidt gets it and he’s not naive.
