I would LOVE to hear about some recruiting. That is one of my favorite topics.

I like the look of this year's squad. A starting goalie, five starting dmen and 5/6 of the top 2 lines of a frozen four team last year. Not to mention a General leading the way.

I listened to the Pipeline Show interview with Dillon Simpson & Dave Hakstol yesterday...thought I'd lob this one up for you Sioux Hockey experts: Coach Hakstol mentioned that there were only two occasions where the coaches intervened on the teams' selection for captains, and both times they were wrong (per Hak). What year were these interventions and who were the players involved? Pretty decent trivia question that I do not know the answer to. I will hang up now and listen to your response.

I was wondering the same thing about that Edina to Notre Dame pipeline. He'd be a good get for us and we've had several successful Edina players in GF as well.

Also, it looks like M. Mattson has added some weight ... good to see.

So if OD proves to be a top 6 would you agree that the other 5 would be #s 9 16 15 8 and 27? That would provide for a very strong 3rd line.
