t UND winning wouldn't be the issue. UND will likely never win at the level NDSU has. The issue is they NDSU is an okay varsity team playing jv football. They are a lot better than the rest right now and it's not really close. They take football seriously. It has snowballed in my opinion. No. UNI was better than UND and quite frankly, it wasn't close. Montana was better than und.... And that game was a blowout if i recall. Richmond... Well they beat Illinois St so they must at least be competent. Me and the lady left the UND/NDSU game at halftime because... Well... I'm sure you watched. When was UND's first first down again? Couldn't tell ya... But it wasn't by halftime.

I think the fact that Bohl built the monster would have a bigger impact. Klieman inherited a pretty nice job. He could very well be a great coach (I have no idea), but I think he'll need to prove himself a few more years if he wants a good HC opportunity.

Have fun. It's a pretty fun atmosphere there. Perfect venue for something like this. I agree. If it was in a channel line NBC or ABC the numbers I think would be more accurate... Can't imagine many sports bars just having nbc on unless a game is on.

Olympic sports, yes. Football, no. Still would like to see them in FBS.

I worked with a few Bison players a few years ago. We were talking about the upcoming game against Kansas St and he referred to it as "The Biggest Game they'd ever play in." So to at least a couple guys who played, even a regular season game against one of the serious football schools trumps an FCS title. I'd be thrilled to see NDSU in FBS. Nothing left to do in FCS.

I don't think it would bug anyone to go to Grand Forks for a conference game. I'd think sour grapes. If they were afraid of UND winning they wouldn't play at all. But who really knows other than the folks in the athletic department I guess?

Notre Dame cancelled their series with Michigan. A short time later they put Ohio State on the schedule. Are they afraid of Michigan now? I mean... If they can fit Ohio St on the schedule...

Ever heard of Pat Haden? USC football player.. Now athletic director. He did Notre Dame games for NBC for 11 years even after being a part of that rivalry as a player. You don't want a homer, I can hardly listen to the Vikings because Paul Allen is too much of a fan.. Just someone who will try to do a good job.

Had to beat Illinois St. Pretty good team I think. NDSU makes a lot of teams look bad... Especially offensively. I think you probably can recall the anemic offensive performance by UND's offense in the dome. Right now, if NDSU is on.. They are pretty tough for FCS teams to compete with. Maybe Jacksonville St can do it.

i don't want to defend someone who is using a bad wifi connection in the state hospital.... But it gets a lot easier to pay for when you receive FBS money... Bigger guarantees, probably at least somewhat bigger crowds, etc.
