  1. What we need is wins over UCD and USD, then all the concern over not beating SF by enough points goes away. Then we can say with regard to yesterday's game that a win is a win. Well, at least I'd say that...unlike most of you I feel that way already, but I tend to take games one at a time for the fun of it rather than over-thinking about the long term strategic significance of point differentials.

  2. As far as I'm concerned, good win over a very good fb team, despite a didsappointing first half. At one point in tghe first half I saw a Sioux player on teh sideline yawning...definately a low point.

  3. USD averages 6.5 more pass yards per game than North Dakota, and has thrown 1 more interception than North Dakota against relatively equal competition.

A comparison of Warren vs Bradley (the only UND qb listed) from this link appears at odds with your comparison.

Have not heard anything about Warren's injury, and I live in SD (not a Coyote fan though).

  4. UND will beat Sioux Falls and it will beat UC Davis and it will beat South Dakota.

USD will be a tough one. They are much better at the most important position on the field, the QB, and have a more balanced offense than the Sioux have.

  5. I'll be in Colorado that time frame and plan to attend the game. Wouls also be interested in any tailgating, especially since I'll be by myself.

Also, anyone know whether its a good idea to get tickets in advance for a UNC game?

  6. USD (where I work, btw) went on record a few years ago in favor of UND's name change. Maybe UND should have a rotating name. When they play USD they could be the Coyotes. Against Minnesota, the Gophers, and so on. Hey, everybody piled on for the change, but sometimes you should be careful what you wish for.
