So, this popped up in my Facebook Memories today.  This was the view 5 years ago for everyone walking out past the Bobby Orr statue in Boston:

Boston was such a fun town for the Frozen Four. My second favorite after Tampa. Great walking city to see lots of history. The lobster rolls were flippin’ awesome. Hope the Sox are in town next time I’m there.

October 2020 will determine April 2021...

I’m thinking the level of competition of the Oct. opponents will be relatively high all year. All should finish well so I do not see a losing record against them hurting us greatly. Hard to crown a champion that early. That said, I would hope that we can go 5-2.

Respectfully disagree. It is absolutely deserving of a notch in one's belt and to be held with the highest regards in program history, but especially for those guys respectively (and realistically) looking to transition to the pro level in any capacity, I still believe for most it would be smart to come back. It'll protect the integrity of the program and establishes what could be considered as a foundation/jumping block for continued success. Last part almost goes without saying.

I am with your assessment. The continued success of the player and trusting the process that the program instills in you are not to be discarded with a championship season. I believe that Gino Gasparini had a better way of saying it than us keyboard warriors. Something along the lines of "for most, your first NHL contract will be easier to attain than your second one, and the program can be used to achieve that.”

didn't Wisconson host in Tampa in 16?  I don't think geography is a significant consideration for hosting a frozen four?

Maine is closer to Anaheim, and Alaska Anchorage was the host there. That was a darn good Maine team that won also.

Your link won’t accept my vote unless I log into Facebook. What a crock. Not a member of Facebook and won’t ever be. Facebook is wrong and evil, and one of the big problems with today’s youth. In my humble opinion.

Is there another way to vote?

Amen to that. Kind of funny when I see someone else say how I feel. Oh well, maybe I’ll join when I’m older and need the affirmation.

I think it’s funny that college hockey tweeters Chris Dilks, Nicole Haase, and Nate Wells got their panties in a bunch over the temerity of UND to purchase advertising during the tv broadcast of a women’s college hockey game during hockey day Minnesota. I guess it’s good to see the women’s college game healthy enough to be picky about who pays for advertising during their games.

‘temerity.’ There is a word that you do not see everyday. I like it. I may be so bold as to use it today.

  7.   I as well enjoyed listening to Woog during the broadcasts: “that’s been going on before the Dead Sea got sick” & listening to him struggle and stumble with a few names like Rastislav Spirko, although I’m sure that he embellished a few times for the humor. College hockey lost a good one and a character.

A sincere and heartfelt tip of the hat tonight to Doug and the Gopher Family. R.I.P. Wooger.

I see there are already tickets for sale on Craigslist... Those people are irritating. If you have zero intentions if ever actually attending the event then leave the tickets for someone who does... Not to make a profit

I posted the same sentiment after the Vegas game ....... and some on here wanted to throw rocks at me. Which is understandable, but still. It just doesn’t sit well.
