Why does it say 3:56 A.M. for Friday's game?
Must be some sort of time machine involved, to watch the game 15 hours before it is to be played
-
I’ll take two (2) in black. Will pay via PayPal when prompted
-
Looking for two for tonight. Upper bowl, end where Sioux shoot once, middle of the row.... it doesn’t matter. Coming in from a couple hours out

Starting times for the first two games of the American League Division Series between the Twins and Yankees have been set.
The teams will play Friday at 6:07 p.m. Central time at Yankee Stadium, with Saturday’s Game 2 set for 4:07 p.m. Central.
The Friday game is on MLB Network and Saturday’s game is on FS1.
The umpires for the Twins-Yankees series are Gary Cederstrom (crew chief), Todd Tichenor, Manny Gonzalez, Lance Barksdale, Eric Cooper and Adrian Johnson.
The other ALDS matchup will be top seed Houston playing either Oakland or Tampa Bay. The first two games of that series, in Houston, will be Friday at 1:07 p.m. and Saturday at 8:07 p.m.
I met Gary Cederstrom (Minot) in Foley’s bar (must see, incredible) in NYC after a Twins game in 2006. I was wearing a Sioux wind breaker, and the umpires that he was with, thought that the interlocking ND on the sleeve (from a distance) was for Norte Dame. He knew it was North Dakota was very approachable.
Late the next night I was in the same bar, and the bartender recognizing me from the previous night says "hey, you missed Torii Hunter and a few players earlier”. I said damn, when did they leave? He replied "When Gardenhire and the coaches came in.” Bartender told me that Gardenhire liked to bartend and would frequently (when Twins were in town) go behind the bar and wait on people.
The bar is wall to wall, floor to ceiling, sports history

And Kaepernick still siting at home. If he hasn't gotten the clue that he isn't good enough to be an NFL QB now (even as a backup), not sure he ever will.
I don’t care if it is, and has been collusion among the owners to let him rot at home. Protest your misguided actions on your own time, not during your job which has made you a multimillionaire in the greatest country in the world.
I haven’t seen Kaepernick in MSP or anywhere else protesting perceived discriminations. Google ‘Minneapolis assaults’. It’s sickening, but yet there has been minimal national attention.
.....end of rant. God bless America and those who defend her.

Probably send a message to the guy on Twitter
That would pretty much require that I would join and even embrace social media, which I do not (does SiouxSports count?)

Wondering where the Sioux crowd stays when attending the games @ Mariucci?
Not many options to stay close and walk. Downtown msp and Uber?
Plan on considerably raising my b.a.c. before/during/after so I will walk or Uber

I have a green reebok replica from 2011 (WCHA patch on tail of jersey instead of chest). It's a size XL and in flawless condition. I wear size medium so I don't wear this jersey. If anyone either has a kelly green medium from his era or is looking for an XL Sioux jersey, please let me know. Thank you.
Sent you a message

Twins, are almost assured to finish with the best road record in baseball. Hopefully that bodes well for the post season (unless I just jinxed them)

Are tickets for the Gopher series on sale yet?
Next week, Sept. 16-18, through gopher season ticket holders (if you know any)
or
Sept. 23, the general public on sale

Not sure where to post this, but UND just made it impossible for students to be able to sell their tickets through their green and white account to other students. In other words if a kid who holds season tickets decides to not go to a game, that will result in an empty seat without an opportunity to pawn it off to another student. I think this is a shame and will eventually result in a worse off atmosphere than just leaving the student ticket policy alone.
Only to ‘sell’ as you allude to? Can they post it as ‘unable to use’ and another student receive it free of charge so therefore it will not result in an empty seat?

Snapping Snapchats at the game increases marketing exposure.
Thus, increased wireless connectivity increases attendance.
I guess I’m just in the dark and stupid. I thought people followed Sioux hockey and that they knew that there was a game. I don’t remember how I did it in the 80’s, but I guess that I just knew that there was a game to go to. Seemed like 6000 other people figured it out also.

Absolutely agree about the cellphone use. When the REA boasted about their increased wireless connectivity a few years ago I groaned. I thought that they should put up a firewall to prohibit all wireless action. All the dolts that are slumped over on FB, instagram, snapchat, Get over yourselves, your not that important! Watch the friggin’ game!
I also feel that there should be more pep band and a lot less canned music and cutesy video games. I feel that the students are the heart of the arena. The fan interaction drops dramatically when the artificial fun starts

how quickly does Arch buy the pawn shop across from rydells on washington and build an even bigger (and cheaper) car wash?
Anything for the gobc to keep the gas prices artificially high. Makes you wonder how some of the same vendors in GF can afford to sell gas 20 cents cheaper in Fargo. They must sell there for a loss

We always liked Shakeys pizza
Good eatin’ at Shakeys. Was that the same building or corner before Mr. Steak? Same location/building as Toppers from the mid 90’s?

Had anybody eaten at Noel’s Cuisine(?) in downtown GF back in the mid 90’s? I think it was Pakistani food but I cannot remember for sure.
