  1. Has a list of those invited to interview been posted anywhere? It is my understanding that the names of those who apply are now kept in confidential. I wonder if Akil Adams threw his hat in the ring again.

  2. I would have to agree on St Cloud, the concrete center and its fans are a bore.

I also, haven’t been to Miami yet, although I put it high on my list to attend. Nice clean intimate rink and a short drive after flying into Cincinnati

  3. I’m wondering what is worse: “a cringe worthy moment of absolute embarrassment, losing the national championship game in OT”  or being “the Stanley Cup Finals loser? Almost like comparing ‘apples to apples. Maybe in hindsight some who post would like to be the Florida Panthers instead.

Good luck to Shaw.  Thanks for the contributions to the program and for helping win a national title.

For the critics, we have no idea if he was the problem with the PP.  It could be that Scotty Bowman and Bill Belichick together couldn't have made it work with the pieces they were given.

When Jackson was hired, few outsiders saw it coming.  That scenario is possible this time around as well.

If it's Schneekloth and he does well, I may forgive him for Kolanos.

I still blame Schneekloth for 2001 also

  5. Western Michigan and Andy Murray seem to have adjusted to geography and time zone differences and embraced the NCHC advantages of playing top notch competition. Maybe Enrico has run his course at Miami, I don’t think so though. Maybe they are in a temporary down cycle that can set in for a year or two. I have enjoyed their race horse brand of hockey in the past.

  6.   With ND the highest in the PWR @ 21, followed by Mich, BU, MN, BU & BC, a few of the ‘mighty’ have slipped heavily, maybe even fallen. I think that it is a good thing for college hockey in general to have a few of the perennial non-contenders in contention. Ohio State playing good?, good for hockey. ASU with 16 wins and playing good, great for hockey. I love the resurgence of Lake Superior State and the rebuilding at NMU. Mankato has benefited greatly from the reconferencing. We will be back. With their resources, the others will be too.

Our team isn’t where we want them to be right now, currently looking from the the distant outside of the bubble of tournament consideration. But I think that our team is fortunate to be where they are: in the strongest conference in college hockey. I guess we can thank the foresight of the leadership that took the chance and built our league. Our league has benefited, most all of our teams have benefited since our inception (C’mon CC and Miami) and others have too. We will be back

  7. Regarding Vegas prices: it sure was disheartening the way the so called true Sioux fans, including some champions club members, were all too glad to attempt to rape other Sioux fans with grossly inflated resale prices. In saying that, I wonder how many non champions club members were able to purchase at face value on the online public sale. Were the vast majority of online (Stub Hub, Seat Geek, Ticketmaster resale) tickets actually from champions club members or were they from opportunistic non Sioux fans?  I had a coworker offer me his for his online asking price of $800 each. I would have been tremendously embarrassed at being that level of gouger face to face with anybody. Supply and demand, I know. I ended up paying almost double, $150 each. I did enjoy how some on this forum publicly called out others for their attempts at larceny.

  8. Telly33, what did you get your Vegas tickets for?  Obviously below face value as you stated. Interested in how low you were able to parlay your patience into a cheap ticket. I paid $150 apiece 3 months ahead of time in the interest of still finding affordable airfare. (But still took a sh#t kickin’)

  9. Thought that I would throw my hat in the ring for any possible tickets that a Sioux fan wasn’t able to use. Maybe my Powerball numbers will hit before I  find tickets but I should at least enter the sweepstakes for Vegas. Looking for 2, 3, or four tickets. Call or text 701-740-5362 or private message. Thank you.
