Not that it really counts cuz there were like 16 teams, but 1950-1966, 15 in 16 years. More legitimately - from 1973-1983, 10 titles in 11 years. WCHA won something like 60% of all titles over ~60 years. The NCHC has been great out of the shoot and hasn't hit a lull yet, but it will eventually like every conference does. If the NCHC has won 60% of titles after 30 years every member of the forum can mail me their oldest shoe and I will eat every one.
My math tells me if that if the NCHC wins 11 of the next 21 championships, that would be 60% of the titles since UND’s win in 2016, a 30 year span. With our conference’s recent success, buckle up buddy.

And, weren’t we in the mix for Kolanos? Or was that Kobasew?

Schneekloth to the NHL
He’ll be more famous than Kolanos yet. Wonder if he still sees Krys rushing around him. I do.
Perseverance, congratulations to him, been a long journey. And I seem to remember that he sported a unibrow 🤨

We really are spoiled by the number of players that have come through the University over the years that have turned into quality coaches.
Steve Johnson, Chad Johnson, Brad Berry, Karl Goehring, Dane Montgomery, Scott Sandelin, Jason Herter, Grant Paranica, Tarek Howard, Tim Skarperude, Tyler Palmiscno, Cary Eades, Dave Tippett, Rick Zombo, Matt Smaby, Colten St. Clair, Dave Hakstol, Jeff Bowen, Jim Archibald, Al Henry, Brad Malone, Dillon Simpson....
And that's just off the top of my head.
Off the top of your head, that’s pretty good. Although you missed the easy layup with John Gasparini.
Add James Patrick & Evan Trupp also. Hrkac also coached some.Others will likely name a dozen more former players to coaches.

Frickin' Kolanos, man.
I still blame Schneekloth and the other 4 players that the puck got past before KG

Crabby old man alert:
I still say NIL is pay for play.
When I'm US Senator from North Dakota I'm introducing legislation to tax NIL income at 95%.
How would that appeal to the recruit? They would go elsewhere for less than half of our offer then.

Add Menghini!
Great pickup.
If he is a retread from Duluth, and Sandy wanted him and we wanted him, is he a Grinda or a chippa?

Other than aging out of NCAA eligibility, what determines how many years that a Canadian transfer has left to play in college?

The lack of interest in this job is shocking, unless there’s a surprise coming which I doubt.
How do you know the level of interest? Has the number of applicants been released, seems strange if so, it hasn’t closed.

You mentioned the eight minute mark when the incident happened, how do you challenge at the end of the period?
Doesn’t the coach have to challenge the play on the ice at the next whistle? -

One short of quadruple the rest of the state combined. Not bad or even sure if they are second to anyone.

but did we want him?
a break away that delivers would have been nice this year, I love James' game, just wish the results matched his efforts.
I’m thinking that the goaltender talent level may be elevated in D1 vs ND high school. But we will see how Mattern develops at Arizona.
Not sure if we wanted him, maybe he chose elsewhere for his own reasons, not ours.
I do know that we wanted James and brought him in, in front of Spicer.
And from what I see, I’ll take James’ work ethic.

Grand Forks leaders to consider 'high-end resort' plans
This would be outstanding for Grand Forks, and would really set it apart from the other 3 "big cities" in ND. Hopefully this can finally move forward.
I believe that a MN Chippewa band has recently bought significant acreage really close to Moorhead.

I think you are right. That isn’t correct.
I came up with 5 goals and 2 assists.
Good catch. -

This is better and won't get hit with licenses agreements. I have times where I had to refresh when it acts up but at least you don't have to look for other WJC YouTube channels when the box shows up.
Thank you. Works awesome.

Wonder if the men also have stairs to their locker room.
