Yeah ticket prices are way too high. I won't even consider this.
How much higher than the per seat, per game price for a season ticket in the respective area?
During the season, the asking resale price per ticket appears higher than the price for this weekend.

Gary Thorne and Bill Clement?
My favorites.
Loved when they did tournament games.
Maybe Mike Milbury is available.

Guess we would know who the gopher fans would be cheering for if we were in that matchup

Is the consensus I should buy plane tickets to Sioux Falls or hold off?
20 minutes ago, Dustin said:Eliminating Omaha certainly increased the likelihood. Even if Holy Cross wins, I still feel that Michigan or Michigan state could be sent to that regional, since there’s essentially a tie of the top three teams.
Schlossman commented that if Holy Cross makes the tournament, probably as the 16th seed, and hosting in Worcester, that it is not unlikely that the number one overall seed would be sent to Massachusetts.

About 25(?) years ago, Tech stayed in GF after the last regular season series to face the Sioux for the best of 3 first round. Anyone remember the year?
Found what I was looking for.
It was 2003-04. Tech stayed. Factor in a 10 hour winter bus ride home and 3-4 days later come back. I believe they set up and practiced all week in EGF.

House of Punjab all day. Karara, Garlic naan, and either a mango lassi or an Indian beer.
Great place.
Love me some Chili Balti or Butter chicken and onion kulcha. Haven’t found a bad entree yet.
Good people. -

A North Dakota emblem by Carels? Is that accurate?
Careful there.
That’s like mentioning a perfect game in the 8th inning or the goalie’s pending shut out with 5 minutes to play.
Don’t throw off the mojo.

The hit that added a lot of fuel to the UND-DU rivalry.
It was awful to watch live at the Xcel when Bina touched it on the delayed Sioux penalty. You could almost sense what Paukovich was going to do.
Prp. started the retribution the next year and Greene finished it about 2 years later.

Found it interesting under: ‘Game News and Notes’ that both head coaches for this weekend are UND alumni. Berry ‘83-‘86, and Sandelin ‘82-‘86.
You do a great job Dave, blessings.

The only place colder than an ODR in Grand Forks was playing indoors at the Bill Jerome in Devils Lake
Old rink in Roseau was pretty cold, then when you were defending the east net, they would open up the overhead door behind the goalie to freeze him even more.
Red Lake Falls was cold also, with uninsulated corrugated metal walls and roof that was about 18’ over the very hard ice. The metal walls and roof seemed to transfer the cold in.

That to me, is what made it palatable to watch Doug & the Rug on FSN. Woog brought so much to the broadcast even if we knew he was a homer.
“Rusty, Sparky, Spirko.”
Coached to the regionals 12 straight years. RIP Doug. Good man, gone to soon.

Agreed. So was Laurila, best game so far.
Best game that I have seen from Emery. Great on the back check. Played smart and was difficult to play against. Used his reach very effectively.

Well, I hope this blows up in their face. I'm for a rule that says you can't add players unless a season ending injury or eligibility issue (these should be taken care of before the season). Once the roster is set at the start of the season its set, no mulligans.
What happens when J Brandt or A Kollar can’t stop a beachball after a Friday night game at Mariucci? Can’t you call up and play a ushl player for Saturday night in his junior team goalie pads?

Wonder if the men also have stairs to their locker room.

Not that it really counts cuz there were like 16 teams, but 1950-1966, 15 in 16 years. More legitimately - from 1973-1983, 10 titles in 11 years. WCHA won something like 60% of all titles over ~60 years. The NCHC has been great out of the shoot and hasn't hit a lull yet, but it will eventually like every conference does. If the NCHC has won 60% of titles after 30 years every member of the forum can mail me their oldest shoe and I will eat every one.
My math tells me if that if the NCHC wins 11 of the next 21 championships, that would be 60% of the titles since UND’s win in 2016, a 30 year span. With our conference’s recent success, buckle up buddy.
