Could one of you technogeeks set up a poll for the coaching candidates?

Actually an interesting thread. I enjoyed some good natured bantering with a number of fans. However, there were a number of incidents, mainly involving, college age gopher fans. Two twin young men ( used loosely) in our section, really got on a woman wearing a Badgers jersey. I couldnt believe it as they were with their mother. They got very nasty and personal, all the while playing the tough guy role in thier group. I was harrassed on three occassions because of my Sioux pullover, including being grabbed by the shoulder, but just ignored the a holes, as they were obviously drunk litle kids. Maybe the alcohol limit in Monnesota should be 25 or so.

I emailed C Kupchella and R Thomas regarding the band not going to the Final Five. He replied that this morning he released $10,000 in Pres's funds for the band to cover hockey and Women's BBall tourney's. However, he ended by saying it was the band director's decision yesterday to not go to the Final Five. I guess I dont know if they are going or not. If not, how do we influence the band's decision?

Please email your support for the band and get everyone you know to also do that. We are a storied program in Hockey and the atmosphere is a part of that. If someone needs a clue, let's give it to them.

I was at the Purdue BBall game and again saw what a huge difference in atmosphere students can create. Purdue has the students in a large corner section, all wearing gold T'shirts where they can stand and coordinate cheers, and harass the opposition. The student section is called "The Gene Pool", (Gene Keady, the coach) and have a blast. As an alum I dont know why REA doesnt understand the importance of student participation. For crying out ould this isnt a baseball game.

Who is sitting out?

I lived in Denver last year and dont remember FSRM carrying regional games. There coverage of College Hockey is generally pretty weak. They carry a few DU games and like one CC game during the year. I would be very surprised if they carry more than any game CC or DU would be in.

Jeez, go figure. The NCAA is up to their usual. "Let's highlight the student athlete and ethics, but then turn around and get in bed with a partner involved in a commercial powerplay venture". Maybe Bobby Knight should have kicked the S**T out of Myles Brand at Indiana.

Can someone tell us what Blais meant when he referred to Parise, Murray, Stafford and Smaby in regard to the WJC. The USA Hockey site does not list them as participants.

Why do I have Christmas music on what is supposed to be 96.1 Football broadcast?

I have tried closing and reopening. There must be something in my settings as the supersize button does not work either. Any techies out there have any advice?

I have cable DSL, the dataflix screen is like 1 1/2 inches square. Can this be made larger? When I click on supersize nothing happens.
