First, at my full time job, I have to work in the office. On the other answer, they don't care if lockdowns hurt people. They want to exercise their control. Left-leaning politicians like Lori Lightfoot, Gretchen Whitmer and Walz don't care if business have to close down. If you don't do as they say, you will feel the full force of government come down on them. They will have a job until the voting populace throws them out of office or they're term limited.

I don't think people realize how big the US Federal Government is. It's massive. the amount of money the Government wastes is offensive. Unperforming workers can get by for years without having to face the music. It doesn't surprise me some swamp rat lied to the president. That person should be in some serious trouble. Just because you don't like the president, it doesn't allow you to circumvent the president. Seriously, this person isn't a hero. If this person had done this to Obama, we'd already pushed for his discipline and removal from federal service.

After listening to last night's Grand Forks City council meeting, they "may not" let us have a hockey season with fans this year if we don't get this under control. The number 500 people was thrown out there and I am not sure if they were specifically talking about sporting events or not? Talk about a major sh1t sandwich. That was what I gleaned from the meeting last night. Some want to shove a mask mandate down our throats. Obviously, it's not working in Minnesota. I was in Hugo yesterday and say 10 people wearing their masks incorrectly. What good does it do to wear one if you don't cover your nose?

I am not anti-mask, but it's not the job of law enforcement to running around checking people for wearing masks. Lots of other stuff going on.
