The last series of cuts from Altru saw 167 people lose their jobs. This was due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Altru's lack of ICU beds is in part due to staffing issues. One of the reasons for this shortage is that people are going to the doctor again. Those problems didn't go away during the pandemic. Also, cases of domestic violence rose during the pandemic.

I disagree, a lot of the republicans like establishment RINO's like Jeb Bush, John Kasich are feckless and would caved under any amount of pressure from the Democrats. How many of the 16 on the primary stage would've stood up for Justice Kavanaugh? I agree with @Bison06 you way over simplified this. We have President Trump because our dear leader Barrack Obama who was one of the most polarizing presidents of my lifetime. Our friends on the left have a really tough time seeing this, because you approved of his cult of personality. Obama was a horrible president for the economy and for tax policy. We paid a huge tax burden under him. His immigration policy sucked. Before you start, I had a front row seat to his stupidity. As a government worker, my time under Obama was the worst of my 23+ years working for the feds. On his way out the door, Obama made many political appointees permanent employees, so, yes there is a deep state. I mean, I get it you have Trump Derangement Syndrome, that's fine. You hate Trump. I didn't like the last two democratic presidents we had, they were horrendous. Sure, Trump may not have the bedside manner some like and he's on Twitter way too much. I think he's been the closest thing to Ronald Reagan.
