I don't have a problem with that to protect a lead. I just don't want to see it all game long, ala Wisconsin or Cornell, I would rather watch paint dry or ice freeze. I still think it the Trap can be broken by agressive play and by out skating the opposition trying to employ it against you.

I would liken it to chearing for the Greenbay Packers when I am a Vikings fan. It would make me sick if the Sioux went to a full out trap and used it as a primary style of hockey. Looking at the recruits and current players it appears it's not coming to the REA anytime soon. Playing defensively is what UND focuses on but I would hate to watch UND play like DU and Wisconsin or MSU for that matter. Yuck.

boring hockey I remember Blaiser and I think Hakstol has also said they wouldn't resort to that. I would hope so it's God Awful to watch. I think UND could win the NCAA title without resorting to playing that style.

Thats how a lot of these teams have won NCAA title, with Upper classmen ie Wisconsin and Denver University.

I have to agree with you. I doubt a player is going to leave college because of Message board talk and grumblings in the stands if that was the case Bill Bunkner would have committed suicide after the 1986 world series.

I would be willing to bet if he doesn't get it going next season the Trashers will have nothing to do with him. I think it maybe his confidence or something. This season he didn't even shoot as much as the season before.

I am still an appologist for the Bruins but the new NHL is set up for the Sabres. I think they are going to run away with it all. I am not a fan of the Sabres, most Bruins fans aren't I do think they are the best team IF they can stay away from injuries. They have like many players with 20 goals or more.
