Mind you I am talking about Women Hockey, everyone knows that UND hockey is one of the Bench Marks of College hockey.

Where are you coming from? Not every coach has to have UND roots, nor is is realistic to think this. Especially when most of your graduates of said Women's programs aren't very numberous. Either that or I would assume your plugging Steve Johnson?

A winning program would have helped. I really doubt if there is not enough history for UND hockey to have a UND grown Head Women's Hockey Coach. The program is a fledging program and has only been around 5-6 years right? I am not sure it's realistic. Look at Shanon Miller in Duluth. Her record speaks for itself.

Hopefully they will find the eagle.

On an unrelated note: Watched the USA and Sweden game last night. Now I see why Gigi Marvin was so heavily recruited. She would have looked real nice in a Green Uniform. The kid can flat out play.

Maybe the kid was that good. There is a kid in EGF bantams that is a monster (Meaning he is good, he could probably have been on the high school team), he is in 9th grade but he looks as if he could be a junior. The kid can also golf against and beat most adult males. That's just a fact of hockey. I didn't hear anyone complaining when he was playing. However, I heard a lot people say wow that kid is good. Just a thought. I probably wouldn't have gone up and approached the coach if I had been in your shoes.

I would predict that Lee is a pretty good student and will be back next season. Just a hunch. If he plays like he did last season maybe he will make the transformation like Goli did this season with Minnesota.

Your just not getting it. Hating a team has nothing to do with respect. Just because we respect a team that we hate doesn't mean we have to give them undying props nor will some of us. Ask Sioux_Hab-it how she feels about the make me laughs (Maple Leags)? If we want to poke fun at the Gopher fans its really not anyone's place to be the thought/morality police. On same logic if you want to live in your model glass house that's fine with me. Like I said about 700 times if fans want to wear HC jerseys just deal with it.
