Yeah but UND has beaten some great teams: MSU, UNH, DU, C.C., NE, The Gophers have beaten Michgan and lost to Michigan and MSU. The fact remains UND is sitting great and is better off than they were last year at this time. I don't think it is time to start jumping off bridges just yet. If the boys in green go like 1-3 over the next four games then I will start worrying. I just don't think its time to start with the Fire Hakstol or the Season is over threads just yet...

You have to admit that being 1-2-1 against the AHA for a big four team like the Gophers is not very impressive. I wouldn't count on being in the NCAA playoffs this season.

Here is something UMN is 1-2-1 against the AHA which is by far the weakest league in college hockey..

First off yep, we a lot better, it will tighten up as well. Jones and Marto have the same number of points offensively none. Also if you watch the game last night game Finley made a few mistakes as well, it was a team effort. I agree with AZ not all defensemen are scores. You need guys that stay home and do the job.

I don't think Jones has looked that bad this season, he is not taking a lot of penalties and he is not standing out as being horrible like some have said. I think some key guy have made some bad mistakes at the wrong times. I still think they are ahead of last years effort so far. IMHO...

Up until the final 8 minuts 47 seconds of third period things were looking good.

I have read a lot of goom and doom and I have been unhappy with a few of the things I have seen from the Sioux, however, there is some room for positives. ~Trupp is starting to emerge as quality player ~Frattin has shown flashes of greatness ~The Sioux have not been swept this year; Yet... Last season the Sioux were swept by UAA, Wisconsin, MTU, Maine.

Great Lakes invitational, it is MTU (host school), Michigan and Michigan State and then some random school that I am not sure how they pick it. UND won it back in 2001-2002 if I remember right?

One thing that I noticed was that there was not post game show, I got back to the car and the broadcast was over allready.

That is some perspective it appears that the WCHA is as strong as we make it out to be. The 7th ranked team against 1st ranked team and Miami has to go to ot to beat SCSU. SCSU beats C.C. and loses to DU on a screwed up goal. Also SCSU is like 21 in the power while Miami is what number 1. Mean while MTU dismantles MSU and loses in ot to UM after 80 minutes of hockey. CCHA = Cup Cake Hockey Association. UNH swept C.C. so either C.C. is over-rated or UNH is good, if that is the case UND is pretty good as well...

I was wondering if we could get dirty to predict that the Sioux were going to get swept. I am done predicting sweeps. The bright side is UND has not been swept yet.

I was confused about that one as well let the guys get the face off and get possession then take it in set up in the offensive zone.
