Fixed my post... After checking the records... That's an incredible number of shorties. It would be interesting to see if they can do it. They have five shorthanded goals in seven games. That leads division I hockey at .71 shorthanded goals per game.
Let me rephrase this. They had four shorthanded goals all of last season. Tonight, @UNDSID said they need to get 13 more to tie the record for the season. Obviously, they will need to get 14 to break it.
Oh I agree, I just think it's silly to do bracketology every week... I am sure most teams that have aspirations of making the NCAA tourney have someone watching the PWR for them.
