Some had said they want the NCHC to add ASU because it would be a great trip during the winter. In other words, the NCHC doesn't need to add ASU to have an excuse to travel to Tempe.

I don't think the league needs to expand. The NCHC is fine the way it is. If anything, I think the NCHC needs to work on its own branding first. They don't need to jump at the first team that wants to join. They hold all of the cards. All I keep hearing what a great hockey trip. They don't have an arena and Allegiant flights to Mesa, AZ, are relatively cheap.

I don't think this is going to change anytime soon.

I would suggest they sell 24 hours to a title on something like Barns and Noble so you can read it on the e-books. Mick Hatten from the St. Cloud Times has two books that were sold that way.

I agree, Brad is great at his job. He's also really good at snap chat. Ha. I also think that Miller does a good job as well. He covers many sports and does a great job, too. The coaches in the league, pretty much say the same thing. If my math is correct, in three seasons, the NCHC has had 5 teams in the Frozen Four. That's pretty impressive. I see no reason to move to another conference. I also see no reason to add any more teams. I like the current status quo.

Chase Mittlestadt, was impressive during the tourney. He's one of the younger kids on the team and we "might" see him this year when UND plays the Gophers.
