The State needs to be thoroughly prepared for these negotiations well in advance to them taking place. The Governor needs to send the best negotiators to the table and be creative in an attempt to find a resolution that involves UND keeping it's name. With that said, I believe that the NCAA will be unrelenting and use UND as an example as to what happens to institutions that oppose their will.

I respectfully disagree. A Fighting Sioux vs. Fighting Irish game would bring significantly more viewers (millions) due to Notre Dames large fan base and give our school and program more exposure. I hope Notre Dame beats Duluth but that will be a tall order for the Irish to do, they seem to be on fire right now. I just hope we can make short work of Michigan and adavnce to the big game!

What happened to the plans to re-build the Memorial Field on campus? There were at one time some renderings of what prospective stadiums might look like but not they have vanished off of the internet. Does anybody know how much longer we will be at the Alerus?

If it wasn't for the Big Sky we wouldn't have anything to look forward to (in terms of football), our home attendance will sky rocket once we start conference play. In fact, I believe we will sell out the majority of the games and outgrow the Alerus quickly. I noticed on the Spirit fund raiser site that UND is trying to raise $20 million for an indoor practice/ competition arena. is that a possible new football arena or something entirely different? Anybody help me out on this one?

Does anybody know where I can buy a large Nike Sioux jersey (not the knock-off Kronis jersey)? Although the Reebok jerseys aren't horrible I just don't like them as much as the Nike design. Also, does anybody know how long Reebok has the contract?

I'm not sure why Faison can't do a better job of scheduling out of conference games? Year after year we are constantly playing the Nobody State Universities of the NCAA and then the athletic department wonders why Sioux fans (some of the proudest fans in the NCAA) don't show up to the games and drop money on the local economy. Doesn't Faison understand that we love hockey but there is room in our hearts for football and basketball as well. At this rate we will never generate enough interest and revenue to re-build a new football stadium at the Memorial Field and take our rightful place in a much larger, more prestigious conference. We deserve better than this!
