10,464 at the Bison game today. I get they win in the playoffs a lot and probably expected to win today. But that is pathetic. Best fans in the FCS?  Not even close.

Jerry stats:

First 8 games:  22 TD's, 2 INT's, 6-2 record

Last 5 games:  4 TD's, 8 INT's, 2-3 record

 

It is really amazing the sharp downturn Jerry had after starting out so great.  What's even crazier is that in those last 5 games, the 3 loses we were in every one of those games with an opportunity to win.

If Jerry plays, is he gonna be great, who knows.  If Simon gets the start will he be bad, who knows.  But I think no matter who plays doesn't have to take over the H>re's an idea, play both.  Take some heat off of each of them.

Murray state gave up over 300’yards rushing to UNI last week. Yet we can only get 57 in the half so far.

Not running the ball once from first and goal at the 3 was the critical turning point in the game.  Should have made it 14-3 there.  Instead we get nothing.  There is ZERO excuse to not run the ball there.  If it takes you 4 times and you still don't get it, so be it.  Can't overthink it there.  Inexcusable play calling from Isaac there.

Bottomline is UND is a different (and better) team in the Alerus than on the road, although we’ve seen adequate road improvement this season under Schmidty across the board. 2025 UND is A LOT better than 2023 UND in my opinion. UND will be a different animal this Saturday compared to last Saturday. Come by the AL and enjoy. Time will tell. UND football supporters should be ready to go. 

2025 UND may be better than 2023 UND.  But the real question is how much better is 2025 NDSU than 2023 NDSU?

This is BS.  Think about the production elements at P4 schools, especially the SEC.  Even look at a school like NDSU.  This is just an excuse to cover up the lack of creativity and good production of the pregame intro, etc.

Lost to Tarleton State 42-0 an just lost to BYU 69-0. Yes,  BYU is an FBS team, but they are unranked and Porland St only managed 51 total yards against them and 3 first downs.  If we don't win 49-0 or more, I am going to be dissapointed.

I highly suggest everyone take the time and listen to Hunter's new Podcast "Sit Down with Hunter Pinke."  per the description on his pod....

 

Starts out talking about his personal story and his injury and the people who got him thru it.  Moving forward he will bring people on that have had their own struggles and talk about them as well. 4 episodes so far. Need to check it out!!

 

 

[2025 Fall Camp]

Pretty obvious the QB battle comes down to JTJ or Jerry.  Jerry has the experience working under Isaac.  But, JTJ wasn't brought in here not to compete for QB1.  JTJ is the most athletic QB in the room, but Jerry is showing in camp he may be the most accurate passer.  I am rooting for Jerry, but if JTJ outperforms in camp and wins the jpb, I am OK with that too.
