Sweeneys crew had better capabilities in the eighties. When we needed rabbit ears, a box of tinfoil and a spacial alignment of the moon-stars-the living room furniture just to not see blurry double figures on the black and white zenith.

So the new production couldnt figure out how to successfilly get the broadcast up to other outlets last night,... a week after a horrible and unwatchable production. Up until shortly before game time the game was "supposed" to be made available,..i see that now they say all games except last nights will air. Well to make it interesting until the new broadcast proves itself capable of anything more than a high school production of a volleyball game on the community channel, we will post the weekly odds on the facebook, and twitter, that it airs....in a watchable manner. It's not that Dan Hammer was SOOOOO bad in one game. Its that Dan Hammer has been SO SO SO SO bad for years on end no matter what sport he calls. If he hasnt gotten better over all these years why should he be tossed into the mix when there was such a long standing tradition and knowledgeable asset in Sweeney already there. As far as hockey goes id say Dan's knowledge base resides somewhere south of quantum physics knowledge, He isnt being tossed under a bus, and if he were, he'd just start doing play by play off the event and the driver would lose interest and fall asleep.

Jason, Thanks for the updates the desire to make it right is impressive. Really looking forward to the improvements....and the coming announcements.... Good lord, with all due respect....and I mean all due respect,.. Dan hammer is the worst most boring worthless waste of Fargo trash tv announcer I've ever heard. Terrible just terrible, creates the atmosphere of a dental waiting room for the viewer....coudnt tell if it was a sioux game or a class A girls basketball game. He has as much business being involved in a hockey game as a volleyball. Just a thought.

I'm sorry but from a prospective of history and knowledge of the program I'd bet Sweeneys' pinky has forgotten more about Sioux hockey than Dammer could learn in a lifetime.... .........then again he won't be broadcasting Sioux hockey soooo maybe it's par for the course.

Well if they did it would mean they could concentrate more on hockey, cause not even the most eager jersey chaser would be interested in some winger in that BCS. ( birth control shield). In jest, I kid.........but that thing is hideous.

At this point, would Dell be better coming back and try to raise his value with an great year, or is it just a wait and see how things shake out in July. I do think he could be a quality AHL goalie now, but I see him going to a four letter league next year as the highest probability, at least to start.

Do you think Hakstol is in for the yorkterm or is there another goal for him to achieve......NHL ? I don't see it. But if he did move on say in four to six years the list of viable next head coaches, I would think would include Mr. Eades........among many others. It would be foolish to even speculate...... That being said.. Eades Sandelin Berry Litke Marks .....??

What are your thoughts on the corolation of: Large numbers of kids bolting for chl In relation to the coming shakeup of college hockey conferences? Could the uncertainty be playing with their minds, or being planted in their minds by chl. It would behoove college hockey inc. to talk with Hesse kids and survey them on the process and decision making factors and compile them into a report to the coaches.

I'm having a hard time understanding this one...... There has to be lots more behind the scenes than that will ever come out. I am a big Eades guy and quite frankly the guy has won consistently through his career, he's a winner and if going forward the direction is to move away from winners, well then I think a better explanation is due. For now I guess I'll reserve opinion untill this "path" is revealed but it's quite the decision to own. I can easily see a situation where Eades goes to UNO recruits and assists for three years and then takes the reigns and runs the table and brings home a title before Hak gets one. I'm not an anti Hak I just don't understand this move.
