    Either your woman is special or I'm totally in the dark about what revs women's engines ;) Are you the guy who said a couple weeks ago that you wanted your woman to go get you another beer? :) I thought that was pretty hilarious...

    Made the ball in chains do that last weekend while she visited.

    Sounds like Brandt tonight, and probably JPar tomorrow.

    At one point I counted eight straight threads where I was the last poster. My mom would be so proud. :)

    Hey Smoggy, where are you getting the WI/MN feed? If you can, throw an update in now and then. I'm interested to see how the Gophers respond after last weekend. Thanks.

    With all the "leadership" talk the goofs are doing they better produce or its going to be a very long year.

    I'll see how I hold up on the posts. I have direcTV sports pack, so I'll flip between wisconsin and the CSTV michigan/ohio st. game.

    Last I saw NH was losing to Providence.

    just watching the wis./mn. pregame. some bald guy with wooger. they both look stupid. Oh, clay just said something about booger's wisdom. didn't realize that existed. The constantly put gopher player interviews up about how they need to play better blah, blah , blah.

    I hope wisco demolishes them.

    I was in the hockey band at one point. Let me tell you, Miking the band is a necessary evil but the mike the WRONG instruments. THey Mike the drums, the trumpets and trombones, and then they have two Mikes for everything else. Or they did. They shouldn't mike the brass at all. Just have two Mikes set up for the Brass and the Drums and then heavily Mike everyone else.

    And the best thing that couldhappen to the hockey band is that the department gets some standards. Blais axes players who cannot play (Siembida, Fournier, etc) We should hack band members who can't play. Make the trumpets stop blowing hard.

    I think that if everyone didn't realize that they sucked (in other words, they improved) you'd see less piped in music

    I like your thinking.

    BTW, thank you guys for helping me with song names/titles. I listen to music, but don't ever know who sings stuff. I've already gone to this wonderful invention called the internet to download........the cds...into..my...shopping....cart. Yeah...that it.

    Great to see Jason Blake back and scoring a goal last night.

    Dang it! I'm a moron. I saw the game was being replayed on DirecTV, but didn't watch because I thought Blake wasn't playing. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.

    Having had a fairly successful high school and college music "career" I will guess that when it comes to trumpets, a lot of their problems come from overblowing. Some of their chops just can't handle it.

    Trying to hit high notes that they can't get to.
