Very good points. Playing for championship as opposed to bowl games is a big topic of concern amongst some of our fan base. I personally dont care for the low level bowl games. I do love the playoff season. BTW---USA has NDSU at # 20 in all of college football.

Why would they be more likely to be worse when the schollies give you more depth. Fact is we are pretty good now. Dont see how adding depth will make us worse.

Now factor in the additional scholarships they would get in the FBS. Its really not a big stretch considering weve already beaten numerous FBS teams already without the additional schollies.

There is no ground swell on our end. There are probably about 10 posters over at BV that are big on the FBS but dont have a clue how to get there. The majority of our fans understand the pros and cons of such a move. But the logistics are pretty formable . Conference affiliation being a big one as there really isnt a conference in our foot print except the Big 10 and the Big 12 and we all know thats not going to happen. Then theres the millions $$$$$$$$ aspect that has to be raised every year. Its not a one time thing. At this juncture its nothing more than a pipe dream for some.
