    That’s not the complex issue.

i thought we were talking about whether or not the team should be out on the field for the playing of the national anthem and if they are that all of them should stand at attention?

and the answers are yes to the first and hell yes to the second.

There's a little oil up there, but not Bakken oil.  An old Dakota Student article mentions he came from a farm family and a quick google search shows he's had a grandparent or 2 pass in the last couple years.  If he did inherit money, I'd say it's a positive that he's invested it in Grand Forks.

but isn't his party against passing down wealth from one generation to the next tho? isn't that white supremacy?

UNDBIZ's post mentions he's from Bottineau. Can't imagine many trusts exist there. Maybe mineral rights, but I don't know if that's in the Bakken. But if he has a trust, why would he stay in-state for college, and remain in Grand Forks afterwards? I and many people I know got an inheritance from grandparents, that's what I was referring to. Even if he did have a trust, that's nowhere near the scarlet letter Bochenski has.

what letter are you referring to with bochenski

    Soros of course!

Seriously, a rinkydink coffee shop and a half million dollar home? Anyone who makes barely into six figures a year could afford those things. Probably inherited a bit too. How a good amount of entrepreneurs get started.

Edit: UNDBIZ's post confirms his salary being enough to afford that.

    so a trust fund baby?

  5. "aww geez if that rapist would've just put his hands behind his back he would be able to walk" bubba (saves a few lives of his current players in the future)

"BLM" matt (more than likely just signed off on a death certificate of a few of his players sometime in the future)

If you think every player who knelt at the NDSU game on Saturday fully understand the political history and implications with kneeling during the national anthem and silently protesting, than you are giving 18-22 year old football players way too much credit. If given the opportunity to support my Bison brothers back in the day in a way that would have made them feel like I see them as equals, I would have done it in a heart beat and I hope that the rest of my teammates would have done the same. Those kids have been through some serious things together and likely had some pretty intense conversation revolving around these issues in the last 7 months. I'm glad that they are supporting each other through it.

    ?

why wouldn't/didn't you see your "brothers" as equals?

Well you've made my point without trying. When you speak out and for example put a BLM sticker on your helmet like NDSU did this weekend, people make assumptions about what that means. Maybe you didn't mean it to support a rapist or certain things BLM stands for, you only did it to support your black teammate or promote equality. This is why symbols are so controversial and why posting them as a bumper sticker or a sticker on your helmet can be complicated, people attribute different meanings to symbols and that can lead to massive misunderstandings.

trust me...most people know what BLM means=donation to Biden who authored the 1994 crime bill...maybe Matt should point that out to some of those guys in the video and then maybe have them meet Alice Johnson. just a thought

  8. so condemning a rapist who went back to his victim's house to rob her and kidnap her kid and was reaching back into his van for a knife is a complex issue?  maybe it is bc a guy like drew brees had jacob's name on his helmet a month ago?

    interesting times we live in

If that's a serious answer then I'll answer it this way.

People can spend their money wherever they like. I am not surprised in the slightest that NDSU players and coaches speaking out on a controversial and incredibly complex subject is drawing criticism and a response.

But it's not complex when you really think about it... These young men are tools of the media bc they believe everything that CNN tells them. And by the looks of it Matt hasn't figured it out yet either which is a shame considering his age

    I'll call BS on this.

you do know that just bc your affiliate members of a conference (big 12) wrasslin' doesn't make your a full conference member...when ndac had ksu on their schedule they thought that was a conference game.

Just heard from reliable source that 3 prominent Fargo companies with ties to Teammakers let them know they are in talks together about pulling out financialsupport......total loss from the 3 would be well north of $100K.

President Trump just twitted.   "I will be leaving the great Walter Reed Medical Center today at 6:30 P.M. Feeling really good! Don’t be afraid of Covid. Don’t let it dominate your life. We have developed, under the Trump Administration, some really great drugs & knowledge. I feel better than I did 20 years ago!"

Your examples don't shock me, I mean look what our president did after he initially learned of his direct contact and then even after a positive test.

Question for the flop, what do you do when you are contacted by contact tracers?

    don't answer the phone

I wonder if there any follow up to that and if they are still thinking about it.

Nevertheless, the main part of your post was sound.  The WAC appears to have a plan.

the wac's plan seems to be strength in numbers
