  1. Winona and Duluth have both done very well considering that they're in a conference that limits scholorships in an already limited scholorship division. Duluth will be a reigon power once they get all 36 scholorships that the division allows (for now...and we all know it's going down again soon)
  2. If UND, Winona, Pittsburgh, and Emporia win the rest of their games i can almost guarentee that those teams will be the 4 selected.
  3. You're in no position to say that and you're basically just talking out of your ass in the hope that the rivalry is discontinued. Trust me, 2 years from now, it's doubtful that more than a couple redshirt soph. will have a huge impact.
  4. The Sioux pay them to do so. They like playing schools that have less scholrships than they do, schools that (realistically) are in lower divisions than them.
  5. Nice try. Using your analogy, it is not required to be a "neighboor" to play each other. Just because one guy moves to russia and the other guy stays doesn't mean that they can't compete against each other. While it is true that in Russia allows you to give more scholorships to your player, that won't take affect for at least 4 years. Thus, a 2 year contract between them is perfectly fine (something that the russian guy's old neighboorhood would LOVE to see for 2 more years). Not only that, but the russian guy has offer the otehr guy a completely fair contract to play for 2 more years but the guy who stayed is so scared about the russian guy now that he's a russian...that he won't sign. He really is acting like a scared little boy.
  6. Your hatred of UND apparently does prevent ANY modicum of logical reasoning. I could say the same about any UND fan who actually believes the GF Herald's properganda that NDSU is at fault for ending the rivalry. It is a choise by UND. Back when NDSU proposed a move to UND they checked into it (like all the other schools) and choose not to move up at the time being. It doesn't really matter, D2 is a sinking ship that will soon merge with D3 and the D2 teams will wither join D1-AA or drown.
  7. So Northern Colorado and Cal-Davis are also foolish for getting off the sinking D2 ship? LOL! You're just saying all this BS because we're NDSU. Here are the facts: 1) even 2 years from now, we won't have an advantage over you, so you could safely play us for at least 2 more years without having to worry about "un-level" playing fields. 2) we're offering you a fair home-home contract by which each team gets a home game. We're even allowing you to play us in Fargo next year, so that if you lose horribly and want out, you can do so without having to be beatin in GF. there is no way you can talk yourself out of these facts. You just look foolish and cowardly. Sign the contract boys.
  8. The question isn't whether we are willing to play teams we know are at a disadvantage. As you just proved, it's quite alright with us. The question is that why is UND trying to say they refuse to play a team that has an advantage over them when they play teams that they have an advantage over. As if they believed that you should never play a team you have an advantage over.
  9. You'll never be able to get away from this fact: we are offering to you a contract and you won't sign it. YOU won't sign it.
  10. If NDSU had won, i believe that the contract would have been already signed by today. It's simply that UND couldn't live with themselves if they never got another shot at the nickle. And now that they won this possible last game it just gives them another excuse not to sign. Also, i don't know how you can talk about unlevel playing fields when you schedule Crookston and Newbury.
  11. Right, so you're saying it's OK for UND to play schools that have less scholorships than you, but not OK to play schools with more scholorships than you. What about this scenario: lets say NDSU decided to stay D2. Now lets say that UND is running low on money so instead of offering 36 scholorships they will only offer 32. NDSU still offers 36. So, if that were the case, you would still not play NDSU because it would be an un-level playing field?
  12. LOL! Get this: the UND fans are complaining about a level playing field. WHY then..do you schedule schools like Crookston and Newbury? LOL LOL LOL!!! Sign the contract for 2 more years!! Our "advantage" will take probably 4 years before it is in full affect.
  13. Next year and the year after the Bison won't have the kind of advantage over the Sue that Montana had over the Bison. So, with that fact being said, there is nothing that any Sue fan, coach, or other person can say in reguards to signing the contract for 2 more years. Just sign it!! It's only 2 more years. After that, THEN your arguments of a not fair playing field will start to make sense. But not until after that.
  14. UNO's Krause is obviously much better than UND's Lueck (sorry if i don't remember his name) and we shut Krouse down easily. So why did we have trouble with Leuck?
  15. If we get hockey...(which i doubt)... i'm sure UND would be #1 on our list to play.
  16. Of course we're not scared to fight you 1 on 1...you're scared to fight us! That's why you won't sign the contract. Honestly...it's not like we're going to have 63 sholorships next year. It will still be pretty much the same next year as this year. We might have a slight advantage in 2 years...but nothing like UMontana vs NDSU.
  17. So go get 5 of your friends!!! But, no, you're scared. Run to the fort!
  18. Personally it doesn't bother me if you won't sign the contract...it just shows you're scared to play us. But good job in ending the state's best sporting rivalry in history.
  19. Ok then...sign the contract to play us. Are you scared?
  20. Why would we want to play a lowly D2 program? We're already scheduling D1-AA's best.
  21. No problem, would you like another?
  22. Doesn't get much better than that and UND won it. Would like to make one correction, on the first TD i said that Dahl was in for Sheppard @ SS. But in fact they were both running after the WR. So it must have been some 5 db formation. Overall, i'd say if we played 10 games NDSU would win 6 out of 10. Looks like today wasn't our day. **whoops, i originally said 6 out of 4...but you obviously knew what i meant.
  23. Good one! No, i guess they're not that stupid!
