  1. That would be fun to watch. I wonder what kind of attendance they will have at it.
  2. You should be banned from this board for using a Ric Flair quote.
  3. I was a little worried that he was getting his material straight from this site. Now that would be funny.
  4. Did he lift the stuff right off of the message board or what?
  5. There is no doubt that the Gophers got off to a very rough start, but they are the 2-time defending champion and have started to get on a roll. They are going to be a tough team to beat as the season goes on. They are well coached and have a lot of talent on their team, who knows how to win big games.
  6. I think you can take the ACT as many time as you want to.
  7. that's why it is a joke, because they only have "decent" facilities.
  8. I love those type of players who lead their team in scoring and PIMs.
  9. If there is one person on this team, other than BB himself, who loves #7 getting all this attention, it would be ZP. It takes a lot of pressure off of ZP, when he doesn't have to be the only person on this team who can carry the team offensively.
  10. I'm excited to watch this kid put on the Sioux uniform.
  11. The site was up and you could vote on your favorite players, but just got updated with the results of the polls, since this is the week North Dakota appears in SI.
  12. Yes, he would lose his eligibility.
  13. It does look like it has the potential to be entertaining.
  14. A sweep would be ideal, but it is a road series in the WCHA and anything can happen.
  15. You are looking at it as a football vs. hockey thing. I'm looking at it as two kids who grew up and played high school and college in north dakota and then on to the pros, versus someone who only played one year of college in north dakota.
  16. Didn't realize former UAA standout, Gregg Naumenko, is the goalie for the stingrays. keep up the great work Spiewak!!!
  17. I definitely agree that Virgil Hill is usually forgotten in these types of polls. I don't think the westerners voting has anything to do with it. Last time I checked, Oakes and Carrington were not in western north dakota. I don't think that Ed Belfour, who only played one year at UND, should be considered one of our greatest athletes ever. He could be considered one of manitoba's greatest athletes, but not north dakotas. If you look at other states, most of the athletes make the list of the state, where they grew up at, or went to high school at, not necessarily what state they played their professional sports at.
  18. I miss the old place for sure.
  19. I believe the list is the greatest athletes from North Dakota, not the greatest players to ever have played in the state. Playing a season or two in North Dakota should no qualify you as being from the state. Found it really ridiculous that the Grand Forks Herald article argued that Ed Belfour and others should have been on the list. I don't think the author of the article really understood the questions.
