For whatever reason, Berry can't motivate his teams. But I agree that 29 needs to drop to a lower line or be wearing a suit. He's really shown nothing so far.

IMO, if UND misses the playoffs this year you have to look at replacing BB. That's a long way off and hopefully not the end result for this team though.

Gods awful passing tonight. Whiffs on so many passes, lazy passes across the middle being easily blocked, and passes nowhere near where they used to be. Team is playing hungover.

UND getting completely out-skated. BB takes the timeout because the team looks garbage and can't even get a line change.

I still think Freund is calling plays with handcuffs on. He's limited by the personnel that he has, with the most glaring deficiency being at QB. We also are lacking the quick slot and the legitimate deep threat. But this offense could work with a more mobile quarterback, one that is capable of reading more than a single read or only one side of the field, but who is also capable of getting out of the pocket and picking up yards on the ground. Our designed QB runs in today's game (non-wildcat) were just gods awful because Kett is so slow.
I want to see what this offense can do with personnel to fit Freund's style and with an actual offensive line capable of generating somewhat of a running game.

No, QB wasn't in a throwing motion. The only time that applies is when the QB is trying to throw the ball and is considered unprotected.-

They need to look at getting some offensive linemen over to the d-line or something. Need some size because they are just getting bulldozed.

What I am learning about this team is that the defense does not show up on the road.

For a team philosophy that espouses tough defense with a possession based offense, we're getting absolutely none of that. Defense is being carved up, Poly is basically playing a scrimmage on offense as there's nothing they aren't doing well against the D. This is horrible.
Also, Kett needs to be gone. He's not the right QB for this offense. He will only ever go short yardage, there's no deep threat with him in the game.

To be fair that was an ugly duck off the foot that shorted Greibel by a good 10 yards and took a bad bounce away from him. Better to stay away from that than risk a turnover.
