If we brought the type of offense they run here I would be extremely disappointed. I know some people enjoy that type of offense but I don't want to see us only throw the ball five times a game.

One of the things I am most excited for with the new staff is that all the players are going to have a clean slate with them. There won't be any favorites to start off. Freshman could start over seniors.

I don't know how many minutes Calcaterra played but he didn't have a single rebound. That is absolutely pathetic to get that lack of production out of your starting center. The only thing he did on the stat sheet was get a couple of fouls. That's brutal. Not to mention his backup, Traylor didn't record a rebound either. I'm not sure who said it earlier but they were spot on when saying we miss Brekke. We miss him more than I ever realized before. Hopefully Cashman gives us something there next year if he doesn't redshirt. When can we get a good big man!?

So is anyone else nervous about the list of candidates? I realize from the get go that everyone said the best candidates would more than likely apply on 12/10 but we only have one applicant that interests me, Pflugrad.

I asked Pitt fans on their message board what they thought of Bollinger. They seem to like him a good amount and hope he stays around for a while. However, they do not believe he is ready to take the jump to the head guy at the FCS level.
