Isaiah Smith is awesome. When all are healthy, Weah, Skokna and Smith need to be on the field together. They’re our playmakers.

Defense is your best offense.

Bubba brought are program to a good level but we have seen our peak under Bubba. Chaves needs to hire some young guy that isn’t just content being an FCS coach. I get we don’t want to be a stepping stone for coaches but I think that might be our best option at this point. I thought Freund might be that guy but also someone who would want to stay at his Alma Mater but he’s turned a lot of people off this season.

Otis isn’t on the trip? He’s sick apparently.

I think we will see some offensive touchdowns. SIU seems to give up some big plays.

A few to keep an eye on.

This is how I’m feeling. I will tune into the game but I’m not confident. Defense may give us a chance, although not if SIU pounds the rock like USD was able to. Javon Williams really scares me. Offense, I just don’t know anymore.

UND picked 7th. I think that’s probably about right but really could see them placing anywhere from 4-9, to be honest. Maybe someone can convince me to be more optimistic and maybe my pessimism is due to our football team.

This is probably just an oversight by me but I didn’t realize Owens was no longer with the team.
