  1. https://ottawasun.com/sports/hockey/nhl/ottawa-senators/snapshots-senators-sign-und-defenceman-jacob-bernard-docker-to-a-three-year-entry-level-deal It appears Ottawa is pressing Sanderson. Here's hoping he stays in GF.
  2. If only Cole Caulfield and Jack Eichel had played together. A two man team, they wouldn't even need a goalie. Barry and Bucci's adoration of Caulfield harkened me back to the BU days of Eichel. Sad. Bye bye BADgers. Strong game tonight boyz.
  3. Sorry I confused the Purple Cows with the Gophairs on the timing of the #1 seed games. Still they should be the same for every regional.
  4. Schlossman posted that UND has no choice as to the first or second game, but UND is THE ONLY regional #1 seed that plays in the second game. The other 3 all play the first game per the NCAA site. That seems strange to me and perhaps unfair.
  5. Be looking for 29 from Clowns on the PP.
  6. If it was our option of when to play, why did we not do the first game? Winner gets the most rest which is usually an advantage in athletics.

  9. If NCHC is the best conference they should hire the best refs. Not sure how that guy was looking at Gaber get held/interfered and swallows his whistle. Brink should have been in the box too.
  10. 3 UND D-men played in the same NHL game today. Forbort and Tucker Poolman's Jets lost to Wolanin's Senators. 2-1.

  16. I recall this rumor back in the day. Not a former ND player BUT, interviewing Sid Crosby and talking about pre-NHL days. Whitney Q: "Where would you have gone?" Crosby "I remember North Dakota was probably up there." About the 38 minute mark.

  19. Even though I believe individual awards are silly in team sports, it should be interesting to watch Captain Kawaguchi and Beans race each other for the Hobey. Fill the nets boys.
  20. TSN.CA article about Captain Kawaguchi.. https://www.tsn.ca/abbotsford-b-c-native-jordan-kawaguchi-named-hobey-baker-finalist-1.1462790
