He's listed by Heisenburg as 5'7 155 and this is excluding the fact he will be in a nice training program in Ann Arbor next year. Remember that this kid is playing on the best 17 team in the country next year and beat out a lot of the Minnesota kids that are mentioned here. He's also proving that he's a talented scorer by the way he is playing in the Select 16s's. A certain player on our team got around his size by his skating ability and shot, it seems like this kid is also.
Do you know something, or are you just hoping?

Nice pics PCM.
The Blue Angels are/were amazing to watch.

Drew Fisher from Sioux Falls of the USHL commited to Minnesota yesterday. I don't think we recruited him much but this is the second time this summer Lucia has brought in a 20 year old player. This could imply that Okposo is surely out the door.
I don't know if the Sioux recuited him, but I heard that he wanted to play for the Sioux.
-
Is he related to Brian Lee? Just wondering?
I don't think so.
I play hockey with someone close to Mike Lee. I don't know if the Sioux have "recruited" him (I know they can't), but he goes to Sioux hockey camps. He was showed the GF area by (I believe) Finley last summer.

When is the last time the Sioux have played Michigan or MSU in the regular season?
The Sioux lost to Michigan State at the Lefty McFadden tourney at the start of the 05-06 season.

Wow, what a humble person.
I noticed he said that North Dakota is the place he wants to go to college, not the place he wants to play hockey.
-
Labby's in north Fargo is where this northsider will be.
-
Does the entire team get to go? It looks like Greico and Foyt are there.
-
I'll let the Sioux players deal with that aspect, thank you.
I think they are ugly as hell, but if all of the stuff Nike says about them is true and it does give an advatage...then were them.
PCM, what do the players say about them?

Cable One, F*&^%$#@ us again?
Watch the weather channel (29). They are advertising that they will air the game live on channel 44.
-
I emailed Cableone but have not heard back from them....let's hope it is!
As someone posted earlier...Cableone is advertising that they are airing the game live on channel 44. Turn to the Weather Channel (29) and watch the bottom of the screen.

Thanks.

Sorry if it is posted elsewhere, but does anybody know if ESPN is doing a selection show?

heisenberg thinks very highly of this kid
http://westerncollegehockey.blogspot.com/
North Dakota got a huge commitment from Edina defeneseman Joe Gleason. Gleason is very fast and loves to rush the puck up the ice. I think he's got a world of talent.
I'm suprised Chris didn't correct you, but that is not Heisenberg's blog.

This kid is delerious, When your the teams fourth best defenseman usually you don't get used "effectively".
4th best???
The kid will be on the top pairing in St. Louis next year.
-
He is a Rookie, leading scorer on the team, third in the league. Team is in first place, also.

NEW ADDITIONS2/26: Frattin (North Dakota/Ft.Saskatchewan-AJHL); Wolter (Dartmouth/Jr.Bruins-EJHL)

DUNCAN!!!!!!!!!
Wow!!!
For those that didn't see it...just think Ovechkins' goal from last year, but Oshie passed it to Duncan.
WOW!!
-
He was back out playing so I guess he is okay
I saw him out there for 1 penalty kill and he looked to be hurting pretty bad. I haven't seen him since. Kaip and Zajac played shifts with Miller and Porter at the end of the period.

I know how much everybody here loves INCH, but this is from their latest Hobey Tracker.
BULL MARKETJonathan Toews
North Dakota
Sophomore
Forward
A four-goal, two-assist weekend against Minnesota State gives Toews seven goals and nine assists in his last six games and 31 points in just 21 games this season. If his torrid pace continues through the remainder of the regular season and into the WCHA playoffs

You are correct. Scott Sandelin coached the FM Express of the old American Hockey Association, which also folded. That makes at least 3 failures with the top junior hockey leagues. Maybe it will be different this time, but even with a new facility, its going to be a tough sell in Fargo. There is just too much competition for the Friday and Saturday night dollar. Not only is there UND hockey, but there is NDSU and UND basketball, high school hockey (which is extremely popular in Moorhead and getting very popular in Fargo with South's recent success) and all of the youth activities. I wonder if F-M isn't better off with the Jets and the NAHL. It is still Junior A hockey, and its getting better. It is comparable to the AJHL and the SJHL, and a step ahead of the MJHL. The USHL and BCHL are a notch above as Tier 1 junior hockey leagues, but there are more kids getting D1 scholarships from the NAHL than ever as the USHL gets younger.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the FM Express a "semi-pro" team? If I remember right Scott Koberinski played for them and some former NDSU club players (back when they were good) as well.
Not that it matters....

Yes. He is small, but very good. I believe he's only a sophomore. When Roseau and Moorhead played recently, both Dave Hakstol and Don Lucia were present. The conventional wisdom is that both were looking at Aaron Ness. That makes sense because John Lee is already committed to Denver, Jordy Christian to SCSU and Roseau is mostly underclassmen. Another possibility is Jeff Foss, a defenseman from Moorhead.
Warroad is a little down this year. The only senior who has garnered much interest is Aaron Marvin, a SCSU recruit. They have a couple of juniors (Hahn) who are pretty good, but they will probably play juniors if anything. I doubt that they are on anyone's radar at this point.
WDAY news in Fargo did a bit on Jeff Foss (last night or the night before) and Mornville said that CC, RPI and Minnesota have showed the most interest in him.

I sent an e-mail to that jackass asking him what was up. He better have a damn good explanation for this although I'm sure he won't respond.
