This has been a crazy year in college football. I know comparative scores can bite you in the butt, but... SUU takes down E Washington. UND beats SUU. E Wash obliterates UND. UND could have beaten San Diego State who just upset Boise State. Is any of this a case for UND having championship caliber players but sub-Division I coaching? Not saying it is, just asking the question.

And D2 Grand Valley State could probably whip all five of them. Seems like they would want to make the transition to Division I. I think they have something like 24,000 students.

UND has had success in the past in the form of national championships, and is arguably the North Carolina or Kansas of hockey. When those teams do WELL but don't win national championships, their fans grouse too. Not saying it's ok, just saying that's what happens when a program is successful year in and year out. It's the expectations game...

If Frattin is as good as I think he is, he will use the suspension as motivation. Remember the game after Lammy's suspension? He came out firing and arguably set fire to the Sioux's recent dominating play.

Will Sioux qualify for WNIT with Conference championship. I know their RPI index is low but I pulled this from the WNIT rules: Selecting Teams: Automatic Berths Thirty-one (31) spots in the Postseason WNIT will be filled automatically by the best team available in each of the nation

Just curious what your reasoning is considering Sioux would be both reg. season and conf. champions of a d-1 conference, and would have completed a winning streak of 10+ games?

I don't think UND women's BB gets the attention, or respect, it deserves. What they've done with only EIGHT players this year is extraordinary. Any chance of getting an NIT bid if they win out and cruise through the conference tournament?

Has anyone mentioned North Dakota "Pride" with a group of lions as the mascot? Haven't they been finding mountain lions in the area recently? I agree that Flickertails doesn't cut it, but I also think it would be nice if it could mutate to be either ferocious (for official logo) and friendly (so kids will take to it as well).
