thanks admin, i do realize in the off-season that there isnt much football to be talked about, and sometimes hockey will be brought up in many rebuttals. just so you know, i wasnt questioning your admin responsibilities and duties, in fact i wasnt even referring to you, not that I think you thought that. i think you do a great job regulating this site. i appreciate the response. thanks.

Now I know that there are a lot of UND hockey fans on here, and thats fine and dandy. Im not angry, rather just asking nicely if eveyone could reserve their hockey comments for the Hockey Forum. I sometimes get tired of hockey always being brought up in football threads. Yes, I know sometimes UND fans are just defending against bison stupidity at times, but there is a separate hockey forum to discuss those issues. I ask that people dont get upset about this. Prefer to talk football instead.

weather elements have never helped ndsu, or UND for that matter, ever win a game outdoors? wow, im dumbfounded by that comment. i know that teams from the south and west coast would love coming to below-freezing temps in december, since they are so use to it, and it would have no effect on their playing. simply amazing

corella, i believe that 22 is all they will sign for now. recruited walk-ons that did not sign letters of intent have not been listed either, as well as fall camp walk-ons that will join the team. so keep that in mind. also remember that some money has to be allocated to the upper classmen that have deserved a hike in scholarship money. there still also may be some transfers coming in too. how many, if any at all, and who, i have no idea.

i believe they also forgot to add brandon jordan, CB from winnipeg also.

i'm going to go out on a limb and guess that about 22 recruits will sign letters of intent to attend UND tomorrow, with 8 of them being from Wisconsin, none of which will be Kole Heckendorf. just a guess though.

cmon bison1234, you know damn well that the the rivalry between ndsu and sdsu is not, and will never even come close to being as intense as UND/ndsu. i hope you dont think you have an equal rival replacement in sdsu. funny thing is, WHEN we go D-IAA, your rivalry with sdsu will be considered an afterthought compared to UND/ndsu. poor wabbits.

sounds like delta state, central washington and mesa state are done deals for next year. Delta would just be a one game thing for next season, for the home opener. Central Washington will be a home and away, with the home game being next year. And im not sure about the Mesa St. contracts, but I know they will be here next year. Sounds like Ferris St. will be the 11th game next year. It will be a home and home, which is nice. So, as of right now, 8 home games scheduled for next season, with 3 road games. Already looking forward to it. Kutztown, i believe, is out of the picture.

More recruiting news on the UND front. Again, I have very reliable resources: Verbal Commitments Brian Trone(sp?) OL from Racine, WI - I have heard that he will be the top OL recruit this year. Drake Otto CB from Bretford, WI - Also have heard that he will be the top DB recruit this year. Brandon Jordan CB from Canada - solid prospect from what i hear. Trenbreath kid from Cavalier - don't know much about him. Feel free to expand on him. A CB from Eveleth, MN, cant remember his name though. Some negative news Mike Stadnyk, OL from Canada will more than likely commit to Montana. He was number one on UND's O-line board. Dang it. Kole Heckendorf, WR from WI - sounds like he will commit to ndsu. Overall, it sounds like we have a very solid class this year. Im guessing after all the smaller scholarship money players commit, maybe 17-18 kids will sign on signing day . But those smaller scholarship kids could also turn out to be steals in the long run. It always happens.

UGGHH!!!! i was at that game. it was UND's potato bowl, i believe, and UND was making a goal line stand. i believe he scored on 4th down to win the game. i was sick to my stomach.
