I tried to find the season long kicks on the ncaa website, but didn’t see anything listed.

Yes, but you also want to be close to the line in order to speed up the timing of your route. It’s up to the receiver to ask the ref and verify though. No point in guessing, they’ll tell you yes or no.

After this Schmidt walked up to the ref and asked him why he confirmed that the WR was off the line and then threw the flag. I’m not sure who is right, but Schmidt was giving him an earful right in front of me.

That last play was 100% Jerry. Both Schmidt and Isaac looked livid.
