Your telling me they went to "demand-pricing" for the NDSU game? How dare they. NDSU fans claim that is completely moronic and the NDSU AD would never do it, even if they played UND. SDSU is so dumb for bringing in double the revenue for a game that they know would sell out no matter what.

My personal prediction will be that Travis Beck will get suspended for the first game (now that he hurt his shoulder). Also, one poster on the BV board said that Perry was iffy on playing vs. KSU, even though Bohl said he was "playable" - which means he wasn't 100%.

I have a feeling that part of this whole ticket campaign was for marketing and media exposure, as well as selling tickets. They got more exposure from this than anything else I can remember.

Sorry Johnboy, if Ryan Smith is the best receiver in your league, your WR's are awful. But, like I said earlier, other positions are loaded. Like OL and DL and LB.

Jameer Jackson was a Freshman All American last year. Kenny Golladay is going to light up the league at 6'5", but that is potential, like you said. RJ McGill is a senior who has played all four years. They are loaded. Sidenote: How awful are the WR's in the Missouri Valley? Ryan Smith was First Team - are they joking? Goes back to something I read about Marcus William's and if he has EVER been tested by a good WR. Obviously not in the MVFC but maybe in the playoffs? (I am strictly talking about WR's, I understand the rest of the position groups are pretty damn good).

I see the Forum decided to change the headline to read "Former UND football coach arrested in Iowa". No other paper had it titled that way - classy. He coached at UND 30 years ago and was fired, never mind the fact he coached at Omaha for 17 years since then.

Like most people on here (minus Herd) thought, the 4th division is coming very soon. The Big 5 conferences are separating and going to play for their own title. They will stay under the NCAA banner for academic/regulation purposes but be in their own world for football.

Their time is coming, real soon. I would be surprised if Bohl stays after this year. They have a major gap in recruiting classes, lots of defections in there.

Go check the Youngstown State game from 2009. The box score will say one thing, the pics from the game will say another. There was a massive discrepancy. But, once they started winning they never even came close to the 10k number.

They have sold more season tickets than they every have, coming off a 5-6 season. Do they have a long ways to go - Yes. But I like the idea to get people hearing about football at the start of camp. It sure as hell cannot hurt.

It's kind of cool how proud you guys are of the D2 game now that it counts. Alot of defending on BV. "At least they are a strong D2".

To be fair, the system has a hell of a lot do with numbers. EIU throws the ball 46 times a game on average and runs alot of plays. Nobody is going to match Lora's numbers when you combine his talent with that system. I am certain that Hardin would have 100+ catches (vs. 65) if UND threw the ball 175-200 more times than they did last year.

There is no doubt about that. Central Alumni's favorite pasttime is bitching about/putting down/making fun of Red River. Its like they pass it down from generation to generation. The school has been around for damn near 50 years and they act like its the new upstart in the community.
