I too missed the date, but I was checking periodically throughout the day while at work and nothing was posted, then the pairings came up. Since nothing was there earlier, just assumed(I know better) that the NCAA would put up the correct pairings. Oh well, lets go Sioux

I don't know why I am drawn to respond to the IDIOT(bisonfan1234), but I am. yeah the NDSU/SDSU "rivalry" will be "huge". Much bigger than UND/Gopher, UND/Wisconsin, UND/BC, UND/UMD in hockey. UND/GVSU in football. puhhhhllleeeaase. If it makes you feel better about the foolish decisions that have been made at North Dakot Ag College, run with it.. But we here are bored with you, so go back and preach to the choir at Bisonville.

Quick? What is Marquette's new name? I couldn't tell you, to me the first thing that pops into my head is Warriors....always will. UND will always be The Fighting Sioux. I have to think really hard to remeber what Grand Forks Centrals current name is. First thing that comes to mind is Redskins. How many years ago di they change the name?

Blue Key is allowed to present the trophy to the winner every year. Whne the UND blue key folded, this right(honor) was bestowed upon the UND student senate. The nickel trophy was the idea of UND alum Richard Kunkel. I know you(bisonfan 1234) are pretty dense, but this has got to make sense to you sooner or later?

The UND student senate also has ownership rights as they assumed them when the UND blue key organization was dissolved. Also, the Nickel was created by a UND Grad, so get overyourself. If it makes you feel better, maybe we can give you a replica so you won't feel like a total LOSER.

You keep telling yourselves that if it makes you feel better. While I watch D1 football and teams like Nebraska and Florida St. on Television. As far as the other programs at NDSU, Good Luck, I could actually see myself attending some of those events.
Unfortunately I think it will be short lived for some of the lesser sports(especially men's)--seems to be a trend in 1AA programs that many varsity sports seem to disappear over time. -
NO, If their were only 16 teams in D2 then NDSU would have made the playoffs last year.

Good Luck to Grant pOTULNY.
He might not be pretty out there and I am not sure if he has NHL skills, but if hard work and determination still count for anything he will do fine. And oh yeah, he is a kid who usually ends up on the winning team. A lot of talent around him, sure. But We sioux fans have witnessed this year that talent alone does not always win National titles and Grant has 2. Bottom line, he is a winner and a leader and given the right opportunity he can produce in the nhl. 
One more thing, I know it was a couple years ago, but I seem to remember the puck shooting incident to have taken place in St. Cloud?? And not sure about Potulny, but Taffe, from all accounts was an a$$hole on and off the ice and the Gophers were not that sorry to see him leave. -
It was a shame that Stearns County Community College faded down the stretch this year and were denied the opportunity to hang yet another NCAA PARTICIPATION BANNER in the National concrete center to furthur the illustrious history of SCCC Hockey.

As far as ugly cities of the 4 largest in ND. Minot has to top that list. The 3 prettiest views in North Dakota.... The Turtle Mountains, The Badlands and Minot in your rearview mirror.
