For me, it's just beating a dead horse. Blais is just simply never coming back, whether people like it or not. Why waste time on talking about the past when we have a great team on the ice this season working towards No. 8? I feel like the postseason is a much more appropriate time to talk about it any way. The talk about how many "nattys" Hak hasn't won and how Blais is so much better is just worn out. We've been talking about it for years and it ends up going in circles with one side thinking Hak is God and the other thinking Blais is. Simply put... Blais won us titles... great. Hak hasn't... bummer. Blais isn't coming back..... Hak is a great coach, but has yet to win the big one we all crave... I think we all hope he gets us one. Why continue to beat this issue to death?

I guess I must have read that first quote differently. I saw that moreso as a shot at the SS.com posters giving Blais too much love and not at Deano himself. Do you really think people hate Blais in Grand Forks? I've NEVER heard a bad thing about the guy. People still talk about him like he's a God.

I thought Poolman did well last night. An overly aggressive forecheck put his defensemen in a tough spot a couple times, but I like the way he played. Lots of speed and tenacity. I like that line with Patts and Gaarder.

I actually completely disagree about Murphy tonight. I thought he played with great jump and was all around the puck tonight.

If you remember that game, however, it was more so of us moving the puck, not CC making mistakes. No one in the country can slow down the puck when it's being whipped around the ice.
