  1. I had Pogo first and switched it. He absolutely could. Both could.
  2. Ausmus, C Tucker, A Simo, A Boeser, A That's my call.
  3. Schlossman just tweeted saying the banner goes up October 1 against Manitoba. Anyone got tickets for this guy?!?!
  4. Wilkie, for sure. Wilkie started showing pieces of a big time player late last year. Gersich isn't as physically gifted as Wilkie, he's gotta get bigger. He's one of the fastest straight line skater I've seen as a freshman, though. Both are going to need to become big time players for us to repeat.
  5. Only switch I make is to flip Wilkie and JJ, but I absolutely think JJ could fit in that spot, too. Schmaltz was very, very, very close to returning. That was the news at the time.
  6. Sorry Sic and the rest of ya'll... I'll try something. Ethan Johnson.... I'm a NW MN boy, so bear with me. Any news on his recruitment anywhere?
  7. Yeah, other than that whole thing with Osh There's two sides to the hate. Lovers defend him, haters hate him.
  8. Looks like it got leaked, again. I'm sure they'll do another big, fancy reveal that NO ONE will be surprised about, at some point in time haha.
  9. Admitted hater and the dude deserves it Hahaha ironically enough, I love LeBron. Although King James is a HUGE panzy lol.
  10. A major stretch? Dude... I can find youtube video after youtube video. Back up his nonsense... Crysby takes a dive, team retaliates, Crysby skates away and lets his big guys do the work. He's a pansy.
  11. I can appreciate much of what he does and his sheer talent, I just think he's a whining punk that likes to take cheap shots, dive and never backs up his jawing, just lets the "C" do the work while the rest of his team has to back up his nonsense. No doubt he'll go down as one of the best, doesn't mean he's immune of criticism. Incredible player, but an incredible pansy
  12. I watch him play all the time and I respectfully disagree lol.
  13. Ditto. I'm all done with the Bostons getting really good players haha.
  14. I'm talking hack in the sense of slashing and nonsensical dives and piddly junk. Not hack as in a poor player. My fault. Hack probably wasn't the best choice of words. Is panzy applicable?
  15. Dang... big get for BC, obviously. I'm sure Norman has already peaked
  16. It's cut down, but it's still awful. He's a hack. Phenomenal player, but a hack, in my eyes. Prime example was last night when he slashed Thorton as Big Joe was skating away from the opening faceoff. Why does he do that nonsense. He's so good and it's so unnecessary.
  17. Not sure why, but I totally read PMS. I blame my wife.
  18. We'll only be one short (I think) and will have a National Title in our back pocket. We'll have big ones, too. EDIT: Forgot which thread we were in. Sorry :S haha
  19. I agree, actually. He's an undrafted walk on for a reason. Again, not taking anything away from him as he was a big part for us last year, but he is who he is.
  20. Again, I think your overvaluing Rinks a little bit. I'll take the best talented goaltender. We wouldn't have recruited Tomek and he wouldn't have been drafted in the third round if he's not able to make saves against Canisius.
  21. 100% agree with both. That being said, Cam showed the ability to make big saves when called upon. A step back for him wouldn't be a cliff dive.
  22. I'm very curious to see what kind of game Cam brings this year. He was such a rock for us down the stretch and pretty much all year. Interested to see how he does sans LaDue, Stecher and KT. 15-16's d-corps is one of the best that we've ever seen. I'm not expecting a step back, but it wouldn't shock me. I also don't think a "step back" will be a drastic drop off. Cam proved he's a heckuva tendy last year.
  23. I think you're putting too much emphasis on the past season, but I see your point. As far as Tomek getting time that he hasn't earned, no way. Not how this program works. That being said, talent usually wins out, particularly in net.
  24. Yeah, I'm gonna have to agree with Mr. Beer, here. Rinks had a great run last season, but IMO, unless he improves greatly this summer, I think he's reached his ceiling. Just because he had a good 10 stretch last season doesn't mean Tomek isn't more talented. Tomek would have likely gotten those starts with Cam out had he been healthy. I'd be very surprised to see Rinks as our No. 2. I'm of the opinion that Cam will start the season as the No. 1 with Tomek taking a start or two early on. I also feel Tomek could very well take the No. 1 spot by season's end. We'll see. Good discussion post, though! What does everyone else think?
  25. Do we have any hats in our history? Ugh. Shivers, meet spine.
