    Great goaltending at the right time is this team's key and call me crazy but I think Zane could be the guy to do it. If Yale did it last year, why not us this year?

    I don't specifically remember that game offhand so can't comment. I've just never recalled watching the team going man that guy just didn't hustle. This team seems like it works hard to make up for the lack of high-end talent, at least to me.

    Out of many Sioux teams in the past years, I think if this team has any strength it's the effort they put out. At least from what I've noticed, they seem to always lay it out there as far as back-checking, and diving to get pucks out of the zone on the PK. The series that comes to mind is in Omaha when Simpson was puking on the bench and most of the team played Saturday night sick.

    It's a saying for someone that is a huge downer, try not to take it so literally. I have no problem with questioning the team and coaching staff, I do it almost every game. But, as an alleged fan, to give up on a season like your above "participation banner" comment is just ridiculous.

    No, Dean would've pulled the goalie and then intentionally got kicked out of the game in the 2nd period to put the SCSU game out of reach, we'd be undefeated.

    Not sure what section as my buddy has the tix but I'll be lower level on the red line with 3 other sioux fans! Amsoil was my favorite trip 2 years ago despite us losing Saturday night in a thriller, so I'm really excited for it this time.

    Yeah, how about we be excited because the Sioux kept their foot on the gas and destroyed a team instead of getting up 4-1 and coming out in the 2nd period playing trap and pack in the defense? Have to love the "celebrating a sweep against the worst team in the league" comments. Of course I'm celebrating it, we needed it and completed if convincingly!

    Yup looks like we got lucky. I was thinking the exact thing about the ranking being precarious so if you made me guess I would say 9-10 with a sweep 14-15 with a split and 18-19 if getting swept. However you need to understand that there is absolutely no math behind these predictions, just guessing

    A 9-2 win and making Miami look like they don't belong on the ice with us is an accomplishment. I can't even remember a team in the last 2 years crushing a team's will like that. I almost felt bad for Miami...almost

    According to your predictions Jim it would appear that UND had a lot go their way this weekend(outside of the sweep) as you showed only about an 8% chance they'd end up at #12 with two wins

    Putting 9 up on anyone is pretty damn impressive in my opinion though. Good confidence builder for the team moving forward and great game for Zane to return for. Now time to take it to Duluth!

    Nope, that's why. Funny part was I was in Warroad aka Hockeytown USA visiting friends(in close relation to former Sioux players) and they didn't have the channel to watch the game, talk about irony.

    I'm definitely sensitive to it, maybe overly so but I grew up respecting the logo and what it stood for. But definitely come on the boards more often, we can always use some victim's err... I mean opponents fan perspective
