I disagree completely, my perfect scenario woud be to get the 1 seed and the Gophers to sit at home wondering why their #1 preseason ranking didn't get them into the tournament with a .500 record.

I would assume this would be eliminated for the West Regional to accomodate more fans, at least I hope that's the case.

Just an update, I received response from the NDCC that I am priority number 839 and I received 2 reserved seats. Not sure what number they are at now but I would assume over 1,000

Exactly, I thought schloss hit it right on the head. The team looked like they thought they could just show up and win but received a rude awakening. Hopefully moving forward that game will be ingrained in their memory that you have to give every shift all you have on every night to win.

Small sample size to start evaluating or deciding which team is better than others. Also, I don't care about any poll that isn't the pairwise and that's not worth looking at until January.

If we're ok with splitting against teams like CC, we're not making the NCAA tournament. They just snuck by UAH last weekend... we need a sweep this weekend.

I always attributed it to new guys coming into the pro style game UND played, been completely different than anything they have played in before. However, I did like hearing Hakstol acknowledge that they are putting a concerted effort towards starting the season better in his interview with Hammer. I think he's sick of answering questions of why they always start slow and finish strong. And as a fan, it would be a much less stressful season if we didn't have to depend on a great run to the make the tourney.
