Have we seen a Berry statement since he was fired? You’d think Schloss or someone would say least say that they reached out for comment, but no reply. Apologies if I missed this.

Well, time to get some new recruits then. An acceptable thing if it means UND hockey is relevant again within the next few years.

Arguably, one could say they were ass this season. W/L record was respectable, but if you watched them on the ice each night, you could see the problems. I am hopeful.

Young up and comer.

National search, and I hope it is an actual national search. Hire the best person. That person could have UND ties, but don’t limit it to that! Can’t wait to see who applies.

Someone once told me that NCAA hockey is seen by most people how NCAA hockey fans see softball or lacrosse.

It’s not even close. Football is America’s game. Hockey is a small niche sport. There are around 130 FBS teams and 130 FCS teams alone. 60 or so hockey teams. A quick google search shows 458,000 watched the BC vs DU title game last season. FCS semis had around 1.5 million. Title game had 2.4 million.

This is damning. Well, it should be.

At the end of the day, it’s clear that Berry shouldn’t be UND’s coach next season.

Relieved that I don’t have to spend more time watching the team this season. And I watched them less than ever this season. That’s a really bad sign! Hope it changes next year.

You said it. If you are a UND fan during the Brad Berry years, this absolutely applies.

At the end of the day, Berry makes 400k. UND could find a lot of interested parties for that salary. Let’s hope it happens.

Per Brad: UND is 1-7 in semifinal games played in the Twin Cities — 1-3 in the Target Center and 0-4 in Xcel Energy Center — during the NCHC era. Me: That is simply awful.

Bump is so good. Relentless out there. Chasing down pucks, steals, always wreaking havoc, high end skill obviously. Seems like he’s out there 3/4 of the shifts too.

What a huge goal. Then Bump shoots it after the horn and fires up UND. I like it.

Brutal sequence on that WMU goal. That’s how it’s been.

The Berry effect. I’ve heard many people with the same opinion.
