Does anyone reading this live in Wisconsin??? Just wondering what is actually on Fox Sports North WI now and listed for 3:30???

as of 3:15pm there is nothing on directv 642.....no channel no nothing. yesterday before the game the directv logo was on but now i am getting nothing in NW MN....please be on please

A friend has two tickets to on of the Bemidji State games, wants to take his Father in-Law and 4 year old daughter. Does the 4 year old need a ticket, if so how much would one be?

Saw a story on WDAZ news about the possiblity of tearing down the old ralph and putting up a track complex. Preliminry talks....look for funding etc. Is is being used for anything now? If they tear it down it would be neat if fans could buy some of the seats and whatever else is left. Man, i miss that place

Heading to G.F. for my first Sioux game in a long time on Friday.......any tips on parking ( I hear it stinks) or about the spots to hop on a bus that takes you to the Ralph. are the busses a good thing or should a guy try to find a parking stall and walk to the ralph? thanks

can't justify to my wife to get a channel for $12 a month (is that the right price) for one Sioux hockey game. anyone know if I can order it today and cancel next week and if the price would be pro-rated for just a couple days???

WHat is all this talk about the REA G.M.? oen post said he got/is getting fired another one said he would be happy Dean is leaving? I can't imagine why the coach and the faciliy's GM would clash......but what do I know?

My lovely wife surprised me with a dish that is able to get FSSN (got it last week, a little too late for this season but next year will rock). as I look to hook it up this weekend, any suggestions as to which satelitte I should point it at? I know what the FSSN is on but was looking for possibly another on to aim at for the first time???

Thanks iceberg, you are right, that wasn't the answer I was looking for..... I see the Directv isn't picking up Victory for free this weekend, I might just have to hurry up and switch to Dish Network.....

I thought I would wait until spring to get the dish that can be used to pick up FSSN but with the Victory Sports mish-mash and Directv not picking it up this weekend....can the dish that gets FSSN pick up feeds of the Sioux this weekend. I saw the Joe Sensor's satellite guy had the coordinates listed........I know nothing about how this works, I just want my Sioux!!!!

I sat by a U of M student who had a maroon wig and maroon and gold face paint on when the Goofs were playing and had a nice chat with him along with some good natured ribbing back and forth. Had fun talking with him about his team and he seemed to enjoy learning more about the Sioux. Talked with many Goof fans while walking to the games or at the bar after the games and while they like their team, like I like the SIoux, they also loved good college hockey and likes to talk about! Did have many people yell "Sioux Suck" (really original) all weekend but we would just laugh it off.

A lot of discussion on the "Minnesota Rule" and the Sioux playing Friday afternoon but what do you think about this: Does it make a difference for a team to play in the afternoon when all season they play at night? I say it's the playoffs and they should ( and will) be ready to go but i amagine somethings change as to when they eat, wake up, etc.......thoughts anyone?

Tech's coach said on WDAZ something like "ice is ice and it doesn't matter f you practice in a zillion dollar arena or one a high school hockey rink"

I must quit reading this stuff about how fun next weekend! I am getting nothing done and work and the countdown to next thursday is going soooooo slow!

where will this tailgating take place? i am from "up nort" and don't know teh metro very good and this will be my first trip to the "X". NOte to beerdarts guy, would love to play it with my buddies but our wives say no.......we will someday, yes yes we will.

Haven't been to the Final Five since '99 at the Target Center. Where is a good spot to go between the games Friday & Saturday? Can't imagine it would be too fun to stay at the "X" between the games......

a few years ago, when the Sioux scored when me and my buddies were able to watcha game on tv we would do a "Cask and Cream" on the rocks. not a big deal, tasted kinda good with a few beers. One night, I can't remember who they played, the Sioux scored more than 10 goals!!!! (Guess that sums up why I can't remember the final score or who they played) One of us would be at the bar to get the round of "Cask" and while waiting for the bartender they would score again!!!!!! Thank goodness for a wife who lets me have a few and drives me home, she wasn't too pleased when i puked on our sidewalk!!!!!!!!!

thanks for the info but to clarify I am talking about the dish (not directv or dish network) that folks have been installing just to get the sioux sports network. are those dishes able to pick up victory sports?

with the sioux sports net available on a little dish that many people have talked about on this forum, can that same dish get Victory Sports that will carry the Twins and the hockey regionals??? not sounding good for Directv putting Victory up on the "bird"

The WCHA playoffs start next week, how does the schedule for that work, i assume the #1 team at the end of the year play the lower seed....... what about the final five? i know the 4 & 5 teams play thursday, etc.....but how are they ranked? is it based on how the playoffs go next weekend?

where is it on the WDAZ website, i don't see anything?

Hey Pete, Thanks for the info. In reading past posts from you, Sioux fans are lucky to have you so willing to share information. I almost cried (in a good way) when I read on here about getting the games on satellite. Living in NW MN I am waiting till spring to get one and put it up but a can't wait! I enjoy listening to the games on the radio but TV is, well, TV. Hate to hear from my buddies that live in town and watch the games all the time...........thanks again!

I am looking at getting a little satellite dish to get the home sioux games, just curious, is there anything else worth watching with the little dish when the sioux aren't on? just wondering if it aimed at teh satellite that has the sioux on if there is any other channels worth a darn that come through.
