http://www.foxnews.c...earned-degrees/
This is the first I have heard of this at all. It seems like there must have been a reason for the audit to have been performed, I wonder who first inquired.
That is not even all the story. Apparently a Dean shot himself yesterday too. Related to the diploma mill scandal not sure.. Making national headlines as the University that gives away diplomas to chinese and russian students. Not good not good at all. The people involved in this should be ashamed of themselves. Its quite possible this could be a death blow to this university. Especially if they start getting sanctions from the DOE and HLC their accreditation etc.. Embarrassing .

Are you high? both of Frattins hits were far more malicous than that, and both of his were good hits. Rau hits him in the chest and Zucker goes down. He doesn't jump or take strides and it sure as heck isn't from behind.
Both of Frattins hits were devastating because Wehr thought he was a bad ass and got his world rocked. . Rau had no business hitting Zucker like that. The puck was no longer on his stick or in his vicinity. Quit making excuses. You may be able to pull that crap over on GPL but not here. I hope to see Rau suspended for contact to the head. Someone is going to take that little punks head off sooner or later. Well folks looks like the Gophers have another C-Piss.

THe PWR was just updated and UND is up to 10. Watch out WCHA we're movin on up.
I just noticed that as well. That is great.
-
Goofers going on the PP with 32 seconds in the 2nd.
-
Its a goal and the score is 5-3 DU. Not sure what took so long on the review but typical of wcha officiating.
-
Well if anything this long review is doing is killing any momentum the goofers had.
-
Goofers may have scored to make it 5-3 but goal is under review
-
Hear, hear. I wish both teams could lose.
I wish they could just beat the crap out of each other for 3 periods and then beat each other up more in OT and then I wish they would both lose.
-
DU finally gets one to go. Now lead 5-2
-
DU nothing going so far on this 5 minute pp. 1:00 minute to go in pp
-
Mayfield knee to knee hit. He is hurt now too
-
I wonder how lapanta and loser gorg would have reacted if that was a sioux hit on a gopher. Either way that was a cheap shot by a little bit**. DU won't forget it either, he better have his head on a swivel tomorrow
How about Wally Shaver. Surely he wouldn't think his golden boys would be hoseheads.
-
I bet he has a broken collarbone. Watching them walk him down into the dressing room they were holding his left elbow in place as to not move his arm.
-
Could be shoulder or Collar bone for Zucker
-
Rau just checked a DU player into the boards and he is hurt.
-
That was the number one team in the nation. Could have fooled me.
-
Anyone heard if they are suspecting foul play? Seems odd for some one to pass away in a rest stop area bathroom. I guess crazier things have happened and it certainly could just be natural causes. I didn't know the man but he seemed like a decent fellow and he was an alum.

Bjugstad is a horse. He will succeed at the next level.
Unless his years at UMTC turn him into a complete weenie.
He is good yes but he is also a prima donna and the big boys are going to eat him up and spit him out. We will see what is left.
-
Could you imagine this years team with Hexy and Gregs on the team... They would have probably been leading the WCHA. Or as someone mentioned earlier, injuried.
I believe Gregs is hurt again and really hasn't played anywhere near his level of play at UND. Sometimes things don't pan out like we hope and I think this may be the case for Gregs.

Just saw an interesting yet perplexing tweet post from Luke Voltin and I quote "Don't even want to play hockey anymore #hatethissport".
I am not sure if this is properly taken into context or if this is a joke or if his twitter account was hacked. I hope he doesn't feel that way.

@chrismpeters Interesting development in Seth Jones Watch. Everett owns his WHL rights. RT @SNPatrickKing: Doug Soetaert out as GM in Everett.
I don't think that well have any bearing on Jones's decision and I would assume Everett will still be after Jones.

We really started all of this back in 98 and since technology has been improving over the years we have utilized things that work well and weeded out the things that don't. It is amazing some of the things we can do from a distance to still facilitate excellent learning experience. I can tell you we are light years ahead of SU in terms of online delivery. However you now see from the legislature the maximizing of IT efficiencies being pushed. This basically means UND will run most of these services and hardware from the new data center that is proposed for the current Central Receiving building. This does present a problem as now the CIO for the NDUS system is basically pushing bad decisions and services to all 11 institutions all in the name of its centralized and won't cost your campus anything. :) I don't think the students like the new live@edu email choice the state got the rest of the campuses into with a State Microsoft contract.
I think they would have preferred Gmail.

I thought this was an interesting piece. Not because Roman(Augustive Cloub) Augustoviz from the Star Tribune wrote but because of our coaches comments on the NCAA vs. CHL recruiting battle. http://www.startribu...138450034.html. Why does Roman always call us the team with no nickname. Wait I minute I know he is a fricken homer. In the article he states " The CHL vs. NCAA recruiting battle hasn't affected the Gophers much. They don't recruit Canadian players as much as UND does." The blog post he wrote however refers to two American players, dare i say Miller and Matteau, so go figure.
What a tool. I saw someone comment on the piece and he nailed it on the head.

They did but his name was not mentioned in the report. It does however say that this started happening in the Summer of 2008 and the former president was hired in April of 2008.
Here is a link to the Dean who shot himself yesterday.
