In my opinion the disallowed goal last night and the 11/14 St. Cloud game, where the infamous "I meant to blow the whistle" are by far the worst of the disallowed goals this year. It is just frustrating as all hell.

I totally agree with that. I understand the players may be going through some bad "puck luck" and they share some of the responsibility, I am really starting to question the coaching staff. The pp is absolutely horrible. I mean we must be last in the NCAA in pp goals. I don't understand if this is just more mental then anything. All I know is that it is frustrating as hell. The damn gophers are 1 point away from us. Looks like we will be sitting right next to Michigan Tech at the bottom of the WCHA. To me that is absolutely unacceptable.

To be honest with you Cornell guy you should be lucky you got 2 points out of this weekend. You were playing a team that has two or three of its top players out and have been having some bad luck as of lately. I will give you credit for the win on Friday but lets be honest we don't hang banners in our rink for NCAA Tourny appearances we hang NCAA Championship banners. I think that says a lot of where the two programs are.

I agree 100% with that. I am surprised that Jenotte has all this time on his hands when he is clearly out at the one of the local bars bellying up. That may friends is no lie.

Well I certainly thought he would have a better year then he has. He has kind of been a no show this year. I know he has like 6 goals and some assists but I expected more from him this year.

Do you think it is the type of players hakstol recruits? We don't have any more players on the team that were recruited by Dean. Hakstol has taking us to the frozen four 4 of the last 6 years and has gotten nothing. Does there come a point in time when you say maybe he won't get us any farther then he already has.

You know if the sioux could have finished their chances old kangass wouldn't have thought it was so easy. We kind of helped him play his game of the year.

My hats off to the gophers this weekend. I don't think they were the better team by any means but they got the job done. Cepis looked good and adds that talker mentality to the gophers squad. Time will tell if this win by the gophers was a fluke or not. Sioux disappointed this weekend. I know the blame can't be all placed on our goaltending but I just have no confidence in Eidsness that he will make a big save when we need him to. Also the issues with holding a lead seem to still haunt us from the NCAA regionals from last year against UNH. It just seemed like the team was not mentally prepared and I put that squarely on the coaches.

Goon is absolutely right on this one. If they made if more affordable and catered to younger families and crowd they would have done much better. Also I felt the service at Suite 49 was horrible and really made it a turnoff not to go. This place could be packed on weekends the sioux are in town if they can get it right.

I sure hope your right and this is just a phase but as Goon pointed out it maybe his style that is the problem. I am also hopeful that next year between Dell and Gothberg, Eids will need to be on his toes.

And I am not trying to be negative or a jerk. I just feel that he will give up at least 3 goals on most nights and will never win a game for us. With that said we can still win with him in the pipes but I think we need to score at least 3 or 4 goals. I think last year we had a great record if we scored like 3 or 4 goals a game. It just is what it is.

I think us Sioux fans need to just expect that Eids is going to give up 3 or 4 goals on most nights. He will never win a game for us either. The reason why his stats are decent is because of the defensive play in front of him. However the defense can't do it all the time and Eids needs to get into better positions.

Welcome back Matt! I think you might provide the spark we need to move in a positive direction for the second half of the season. Good for you for being committed to return. We are happy you are back. Now lets play some Fighting Sioux hockey..
