Just tried to get tickets through the Champions Club presale and there are only a couple dozen individual seats left.  Can't even get 2 seats together.  Unless they are holding additional tickets for the public release tomorrow, it's looking like a seller's market.

I was able to get 4 tickets for the Saturday game.

The Ralph in 06 regional was the best and might be tough to match because of what Holy Cross brought to the table, #16 seed upset, after the holy cross game the announcers on TV didn't say a word for a minute, camera scanned the ice and crowd the "Miracle in ND":

    MN was rated #1.

    MN had local talent.

MN had a group of players that were very talented and lazy hot dogs.

We were hungry to get to the Natty and hopefully win it.

Hakstal had our boys playing at the top of their game, and the fans new it.

UND had/has the most knowledgeable fans about hockey.

During the regional, it's not a bring your kids to the game any more. Every fan gets into the game and makes noise.

That video is awesome. It's 100x better with the Holy Cross announcers.

While I agree with the premise here,  135 would not have gotten you regional tickets. I've donated more than that over the past couple years since moving back to Grand Forks,  and I'm only around 1100 in the priority points list.  Regional tickets did not make it to that level,  although apparently I could have bought Vegas tickets.

I'm lower on the list than you and tickets were available for the Regional when I logged in.

  4. I'll be there with my wife in Section 105, Row 5 and we're staying at the Wyndham New Yorker near MSG. I received an email from United this morning changing my DEN-EWR flight times so we'll be getting in 2 hours later than originally scheduled. We don't have anything planned other than some sight seeing.

  5. Received this email from MSG this morning:

Dear 2016 College Hockey Showdown Ticket Holder:

Please be advised that the 2016 College Hockey Showdown hockey game originally scheduled to take place at Madison Square Garden on Saturday, December 3, 2016 beginning at 8:00pm will now start at 7:30pm.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and look forward to your continued patronage of Madison Square Garden.

    Sincerely,
    The Madison Square Garden Company

Excuse me if I missed anything from previous posts, but will ask anyway.  Is there one airport among LGA, JFK or EWR that would favor the cheapest, easiest & shortest transfer to NYC Penn Station?  Newark seems to fit that bill but am wondering if other experienced fliers have an opinion?  At the moment, the fares from MSP among these three are the same.

We're going on a Disney cruise during "Jersey Week" and I asked people in my cruise group that question since the majority of them are from the NYC area. Everyone who replied said EWR was the way to go.
